Yisrael, hear the word of Yahuah! For too long, we have allowed ourselves to be entangled in the economic webs of Babylon and Edom, trading our birthright for a mess of pottage. We lament the instability, the debt, the manipulation, yet continue to participate in a system designed for our subjugation. This is not merely a financial crisis; it is a spiritual one, a symptom of our collective turning away from the ancient paths of covenant commerce.

Consider the firstfruits. In Shemot 23:19, Yahuah commands, “You shall bring the first of the firstfruits of your land to the house of Yahuah your Elohim.” This was not simply an agricultural practice, but a declaration of sovereignty. The first and best belonged to Yahuah, acknowledging Him as the source of all provision. From these firstfruits, provision was made for the Levites, those set apart for sacred service, ensuring a functioning, righteous society. This principle extends beyond agriculture.
