What We Collect

We collect the minimum required to operate the service: your email address (for account access and the newsletter), billing details (handled by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers), and basic usage data (IP address and browser type, for security and rate-limiting).

How We Use It

Your email is used to send your magic login link, subscription receipts, and the newsletter you signed up for. Billing details flow through Stripe to process your subscription. Usage data is used to detect abuse and improve the service.

Who We Share With

We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the service: Stripe (payments), our self-hosted email infrastructure, and our self-hosted analytics (no third-party tracking). We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising-network trackers.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies: an HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in, and a Stripe checkout cookie during payment. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account exists. Cancelled subscriptions remain in our records for 7 years to comply with tax/accounting requirements. You may request deletion at any time (except where retention is legally required).

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing ops@shofarwire.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

Your account is protected by a magic-link authentication system — no passwords to steal. Sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe under their PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
