The Serpent's Coin

For generations, we have allowed ourselves to become entangled in the financial systems of Babylon. We have traded the weight of the shekel for the fleeting promises of paper and digital illusions. This is not merely a matter of economics; it is a matter of covenant. Remember the words of Deuteronomy 28:12-15: “Yahuah will open to you His good treasure, the heavens to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. Yahuah will make you the head, and not the tail. You shall be above and not beneath, if you heed the commandments of Yahuah your Elohim, and keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book. Beware that you do not say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand have made me this wealth.’”

We have forgotten these words. We have pursued the wealth of the nations, and in doing so, have become slaves to their systems. Edom, ever the deceiver, orchestrates this enslavement, positioning themselves as the gatekeepers of our prosperity. They offer convenience, but demand control. They promise access, but extract allegiance.

Breaking the Chains

The reports from the territories echo a familiar lament. Affordability scams, corruption within the defense programs, and the blatant rewarding of lawlessness – these are not isolated incidents. They are symptoms of a deeper sickness, a rot that has infested the foundations of our nation. These actions speak to a heart turned away from Yahuah’s righteous statutes.

But even in the midst of this darkness, there is hope. The time is at hand to reclaim our economic sovereignty, to build a commerce rooted in the principles of the covenant. This is not a call to isolation, but a call to discernment. We must establish systems of trade and exchange that prioritize the needs of Yisrael and operate outside the reach of Edom’s control.

The New Standard

Consider the wisdom of Amos 9:14: “I will restore the fortunes of My people Yisrael, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and dwell in them. They shall plant vineyards and drink the wine, and they shall cultivate gardens and eat their fruit.” This restoration is not merely physical; it is economic as well. It requires a return to the land, a dedication to honest labor, and a commitment to building self-sufficient communities.

We must rediscover the value of the shekel, not as a symbol of worldly wealth, but as a testament to our covenant with Yahuah. Let the shekel represent our dedication to truth, justice, and the principles of righteousness. Let it be a medium of exchange that honors Yahuah and serves the needs of His people.

The Looming Reckoning

Let those in power hear this: Yahuah will not tolerate the continued oppression of His people. The judgment upon Edom is unfolding, as foretold in Obadiah and the other prophets. Their schemes will unravel, their power will wane, and their deceit will be exposed.

This is not a time for complacency. This is a time for action. Yisrael must prepare itself for the coming changes, establishing economic structures that can withstand the storms of judgment. Let us rebuild our communities, cultivate our land, and embrace the principles of covenant commerce.
