The hand of Edom tightens, a frigid grip upon the nations, even as Yisrael slumbers in a false peace. The reports from the Watchmen confirm what the prophets of old declared: judgment upon Edom is not a distant threat, but a present reality (Obadiah 1:10-14). They amass power, manipulate finances, and exert control, while the descendants of Yaacob remain largely oblivious, entangled in the ways of Babylon. But within this unfolding darkness, a light shines – the call to return to the ancient paths, to reclaim the rhythm of Yahuah’s appointed times, and to separate ourselves as a people consecrated to Him.
The Broken Covenant of Time
For generations, Yisrael has abandoned the reckoning of time ordained by Yahuah. We have embraced the solar calendar of Egypt, a system rooted in idolatry and divorced from the celestial signs given to mark His *moedim* – His appointed feasts and seasons (Leviticus 23). This is not a mere matter of calendrical preference; it is a breach of covenant, a rejection of the very framework through which Yahuah reveals His purposes.
