The Covenant of the Tongue and the Stomach

Yisrael, hear the word of Yahuah! For too long, you have traded the health of your bodies – the temples of the Ruach HaQodesh – for the fleeting pleasures of a poisoned world. The reports come in waves: the crumbling economies of Edom, the deceptive posturing of nations, the pestilences loosed upon the earth (see Ezekiel 33:27-29). These are not random events, but the orchestrated unraveling of a system built on the exploitation of Yahuah’s covenant people and the defilement of His creation. And at the very heart of this defilement lies the food you consume.

Consider the ancient wisdom woven into the Torah. It is not merely a list of arbitrary rules, but a blueprint for *shalom* – wholeness – in every aspect of life. The dietary laws, the *kashrut*, are not intended to burden you, but to *protect* you. Deuteronomy 14 speaks clearly: “You may eat any clean animal…but you must not eat any detestable creature.” (Deuteronomy 14:4-8
