Somaliland Opens Embassy in Jerusalem: A Pact with the Serpent
While scattered Yisrael remains in exile, the modern state of Israel continues to forge alliances with nations outside the covenant. This latest diplomatic maneuver—the opening of a Somaliland embassy in Jerusalem—signals a further entrenchment in worldly power and a rejection of Yahuah’s prophetic timeline.
The so-called nation of Israel has received the president of Somaliland and celebrated the opening of an embassy within its contested capital. This act, lauded by the Israeli regime as a diplomatic triumph, is in reality a testament to the ongoing blindness of those who prioritize earthly kingdoms over the restoration of Yisrael.
Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullah, president of Somaliland, inaugurated the embassy in Jerusalem’s Har Hotzvim hi-tech park, a location symbolic of the modern state’s focus on technological advancement and material gain. This pursuit of innovation, divorced from righteousness and covenant obedience, serves only to further distance Israel from the true inheritance promised to the tribes of Yisrael.
The timing of this exchange is particularly revealing. The Israeli foreign minister disclosed that the Somaliland president visited Israel two months prior to the official recognition of Somaliland. This suggests a calculated quid pro quo, a transactional relationship built on political expediency rather than divine alignment. It is a pattern repeated throughout the history of Edom—deals struck in darkness, fueled by self-interest, and ultimately leading to judgment.
While the world’s nations scramble to secure alliances and establish footholds in Jerusalem, the remnant of Yisrael remains scattered, awaiting the fulfillment of the prophecies concerning our regathering. This is not a time for celebration, but a time for watchmen to sound the alarm. The actions of the Israeli government demonstrate a stubborn refusal to acknowledge the true Yisrael—the people to whom the land was promised through an everlasting covenant.
The opening of this embassy is not a step towards peace, but a further provocation. It is a bold declaration of defiance against Yahuah’s will and a signal that the modern state of Israel is choosing the path of judgment. Let those with ears to hear understand the gravity of this moment. The time of reckoning is at hand, and the nations will be held accountable for their transgressions against the covenant people of Yisrael.
This alignment of Somaliland with the modern state falsely claiming Jerusalem echoes the pride and shortsightedness that brought judgment upon Edom. Like Edom, dwelling in the clefts of the rock and exalting itself (Obadiah 1:3), this ‘diplomatic triumph’ is built upon a foundation of contested land and disregard for Yahuah’s covenant promises. To prioritize political gain over the rightful inheritance ordained by Yahuah is to invite His righteous indignation. The celebration in Har Hotzvim, a symbol of technological advancement, is a hollow echo of true progress – progress rooted in obedience and humility, not in the grasping for earthly power. It is a pact made with the serpent, a trade of spiritual inheritance for fleeting political favor, mirroring Edom’s boastful security that ultimately crumbled before Yahuah’s wrath.
However, within this seeming darkness, a flicker of restoration is also present. Yahuah often works through unexpected vessels, and the opening of this embassy, though flawed in its motivation, may subtly contribute to the eventual gathering of His people. Just as the remnant of Israel was preserved through scattering (Ezekiel 36:24), so too may this act, however misguided, play a part in the unfolding of prophetic destiny. Yahusha promised a restoration of all things (Acts 3:21), and even seemingly detrimental actions can be woven into His divine tapestry. Therefore, while condemning the pride and illegitimacy of this arrangement, we recognize that Yahuah’s ultimate purpose for the complete restoration of Yisrael will prevail, even through the actions of those who do not understand His plan.
