Hear this, O house of Yaacob! The nations stir, and the signs thicken like smoke upon the horizon. Yahuah is revealing His hand in the affairs of men, and those with eyes to see, let them discern the pattern unfolding. We watch the dance of power, but we must not mistake the players for the puppeteer.

The Serpent Uncoils

The reports from Persia – modern-day Iran – speak of nuclear ambitions. They offer assurances, engage in negotiations, yet continue their pursuit of power. Do not be deceived. This is not merely a political maneuver. It is a fulfillment of ancient prophecy. Ezekiel 38 speaks clearly of Persia as a key player in the coalition that will gather against Yisrael in the latter days.

“Son of man, set your face against Persia…” (Ezekiel 38:5).

This is not a call for preemptive war, but a call for prophetic understanding. Yahuah has declared the judgment upon those who seek to diminish His people. Persia, along with Elam, Media, and other nations named in Ezekiel, will be instruments of His wrath. They are the agents of a coming tribulation, a refining fire for the house of Yaacob.

The False Promise of Security

Yisrael seeks security in alliances and self-reliance. They pursue the idols of modern technology, believing that strength lies in their own hands. But this is a delusion! Deuteronomy 28 warns of the consequences of turning away from Yahuah, of seeking strength in the arm of flesh.

“Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength…” (Jeremiah 17:5).

The serpent offers a tempting medicine – a promise of safety in exchange for obedience. But this is the same serpent who deceived Chavah in the garden. This so-called “security” is a mirage, a temporary reprieve before the storm. Remember, the nations will not be stayed by treaties or technology when Yahuah’s hand is upon them.

Edom’s Shadow Lengthens

Observe the nations that benefit from this turmoil. Who profits from the fear and uncertainty? Edom – in its modern manifestations – is ever present, manipulating the narrative, profiting from the chaos. They are the image merchants, selling illusions and stolen visions. They sow discord and fan the flames of conflict, all while enriching themselves. Malachi 1 reveals Yahuah’s unwavering judgment against Edom for its pride and contempt.

“For every one is proud and haughty, every one who is exalted has acted presumptuously against me…” (Malachi 1:6).

Edom seeks to control the flow of information, to shape public opinion, and to isolate Yisrael from its true allies. They are masters of deception, weaving a web of lies to conceal their true intentions.

The Turning of the Age

Yet, even in the midst of these dark signs, there is a glimmer of hope. We see nations like Guinea declaring economic sovereignty, seeking to break free from the chains of Babylon. This is a small step, but it is a sign of the turning of the age. Amos 9 speaks of the restoration of Yisrael, of the rebuilding of ruined cities and the planting of vineyards.

“‘In those days Yisrael will live in safety, and no one will make them afraid…’” (Amos 9:15).

This restoration is not merely physical, but spiritual. It is a return to the covenant, a renewal of the relationship between Yahuah and His people.

The Clock is Ticking

The 70th week of Daniel is upon us. The time of Yaacob’s trouble is drawing near. The prince of iron and clay will break the covenant, and the abomination of desolation will be revealed. The midpoint approaches, and the refining fire will intensify.

Understand this, Yisrael: the nations will come against you. But Yahuah will not abandon His people. He will use even the darkest of events to fulfill His purposes. Prepare your hearts, strengthen your faith, and watch for the signs. The smoke is rising, and the fire is coming. Let your light shine brightly in the darkness, and declare the truth of Yahuah to a world lost in deception.
