Just as Edom seeks to control through dependence, Yahuah will draw His people home through redemption and empowerment, fulfilling the promise in Ezekiel 36:24: “I will take you from the nations and gather you from all your countries, and I will bring you to your own land.” This tour, therefore, is not a sign of enduring power, but a symptom of a decaying influence, paving the way for the rightful heirs to reclaim their destiny.
The actions of Edom’s envoy are a clear sign that Yahuah’s judgment upon them is drawing near, simultaneously preparing the way for the ultimate restoration of Yisrael.
