Israel Consumes Itself in Fear: A Sign of Judgment Upon the Land
The modern state of Israel descends further into a cycle of anxiety and division as its elections are dictated not by vision, but by the specter of perceived threats. This preoccupation with fear is a direct consequence of turning from the covenant and embracing the ways of Edom. Yisrael must discern the difference between true security and the false promises of a worldly power.
The Times of Israel reports that the approaching elections within Israel are being fueled not by aspiration, but by pervasive fear. This is no surprise to those who watch the unfolding of Yahuah’s judgments. The modern state of Israel, built upon stolen inheritance and sustained by the pride of its leaders, operates outside of covenant and therefore knows no true peace.
This election, like those before it, reveals a nation consumed by its own anxieties. The Israeli regime obsesses over external threats, manufacturing enemies to justify its continued occupation and expansion. But the greatest threat to so-called Israel is not from without, but from within – the erosion of its spiritual foundation and the rejection of Yahuah’s law. The incessant focus on security, divorced from righteousness, is a futile attempt to secure a future that Yahuah has not promised.
Consider the source of this fear: a people who have rejected the Messiah, who persecute the true followers of Yahusha, and who cling to a distorted interpretation of scripture. They seek to establish a kingdom of this world, built on military might and political maneuvering, while ignoring the spiritual warfare that truly determines the fate of nations. This is the hallmark of Edom, the adversary of Yisrael, who seeks to undermine the covenant people and usurp their inheritance.
While the world’s media fixates on the political machinations within Israel, the remnant of Yisrael must remain steadfast in their faith. We are not called to participate in the elections of a corrupt system, but to prepare ourselves for the coming restoration. The time is near when Yahuah will separate the wheat from the chaff, and establish His kingdom upon the earth. Let us pray for discernment, that we may recognize the signs of the times and fulfill our calling as watchmen on the walls of Zion. The fear gripping Israel is a symptom of a deeper malady – a nation estranged from its Creator and destined for judgment. Let Yisrael awaken before it is too late.
The escalating fear gripping Israel as reported, isn’t merely political anxiety, but echoes the prophetic dismantling of prideful nations. Consider Edom, described in Obadiah 1:10-14 – a people consumed by violence against their brother, boasting in their security atop high places, ultimately brought low by Yahuah for their cruelty. This present fear within Israel, born of a relentless focus on self-preservation and a disregard for covenant faithfulness, mirrors Edom’s fate. The “stolen inheritance” mentioned speaks not just to land disputes, but to a rejection of the true inheritance offered through Yahusha – a spiritual belonging built on humility and obedience, not nationalistic pride. Yahuah consistently judges those who elevate themselves above His righteous standards, and this internal fracturing, fueled by fear instead of faith, is a clear sign of His hand at work.
However, within this judgment, a path for restoration remains open. Though presently consumed by anxiety and operating outside covenant, Yahuah’s purposes are not solely destructive. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of a future gathering of Israel from the nations, a remnant returning to the land. This fear, while a consequence of disobedience, can serve as a refining fire, prompting a turning of hearts towards true repentance and reliance upon Yahusha’s atoning sacrifice. The dismantling of a prideful, self-reliant Israel paves the way for a humble, covenant-keeping remnant to emerge, fulfilling the promise of restoration and establishing Yahuah’s kingdom on earth. Therefore, this period of fear is not an end, but a necessary precursor to the ultimate rebuilding of Yisrael through genuine faith and obedience to Yahuah.
