This pipeline agreement isn’t about oil; it’s a brazen act echoing Yahuah’s ancient prophecies concerning Edom’s enduring hostility towards Yisrael. The attempt to control vital trade routes, to dictate the flow of resources across the very lands designated for His chosen people, is a direct fulfillment of the animosity predicted in Obadiah 1:10-14 – a reckoning for violence against your brother, a callous rejoicing over the affliction of the children of Zion, and a seizing of their possessions in times of calamity. This isn’t strategic maneuvering, but spiritual warfare, a symbolic tightening of Edom’s grip, attempting to choke the lifeblood from the promised inheritance and declare dominion where only Yahuah reigns.
Yet, even within this apparent escalation of Edom’s defiance, we see the hand of Yahuah orchestrating events towards the ultimate restoration of Yisrael. Just as He used Pharaoh’s oppression to birth a nation, He will utilize the schemes of these modern-day Edomites to refine and strengthen His people, proving once more that His purposes cannot be thwarted. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of a highway being prepared for the return of the remnant, and though this pipeline is intended for control, Yahuah will turn it to facilitate the gathering of His people and the establishment of His Kingdom. Therefore, while Edom attempts to forge an unholy alliance, Yahuah is actively preparing the path for Yahusha’s triumphant return and the complete and undeniable restoration of Yisrael’s rightful inheritance.
