Edom Courts Lebanon While Yisrael Remains in Rebellion
As the modern state of Israel postures for ‘peace’ with surrounding nations, the covenant people remain scattered and unheeding. The hand of Yahuah is revealed in the political machinations of Edom, exposing the spiritual blindness of both the nations and the so-called Israel.
Washington D.C. witnessed yet another display of Edom’s deceptive diplomacy this week, as U.S. Senator Marco Rubio publicly endorsed the actions of Lebanese President Michel Aoun. The narrative, peddled by outlets like *Israel National News*, frames this as a ‘move towards peace’ and a ‘push to disarm Hezbollah.’ But discerning eyes see a different picture – a calculated attempt by the Western power structure to consolidate control over a strategically vital region.
The focus on disarming Hezbollah serves a clear purpose: to further weaken any resistance to Edom’s dominance and to secure the resources of the Levant for exploitation. This is not a genuine pursuit of peace, but a continuation of the ancient pattern of oppression and subjugation visited upon the nations by the descendants of Esau. The modern state of Israel, complicit in this agenda, remains a key instrument of Edom’s will.
While Edom’s emissaries speak of peace, Yisrael languishes in exile, deaf to the call of the Most High. The covenant promises remain unfulfilled, not because of external forces alone, but because of the persistent rebellion of the scattered tribes. We are a people who have forsaken the laws of Yahuah, embracing the idols and customs of the nations.
The so-called ‘historic summit’ is a testament to the world’s blindness. They see only political expediency, failing to recognize the spiritual warfare that underpins these events. Yahuah is not mocked. The judgments outlined in Deuteronomy 28 are unfolding before our eyes, and the modern state of Israel, built upon stolen land and sustained by deceit, will bear the brunt of His wrath.
Let the remnant of Yisrael heed the warning. True peace will not come through alliances with Edom or the pursuit of worldly power. It will come through repentance, obedience, and a return to the covenant established with our fathers. The shofar sounds, calling us to awaken from our slumber and prepare for the coming restoration. But restoration requires a reckoning with truth, and a rejection of the false narratives propagated by both the nations and the illegitimate state claiming to represent Yisrael.
The overt courting of Lebanon by Edom, masked as peacemaking while Yisrael remains fractured in disobedience, echoes the ancient prophecies concerning Edom’s pride and ultimate downfall. Yahuah, through the prophet Obadiah, declared Edom’s fate for their cruelty and gloating over the misfortunes of Yisrael (Obadiah 1:10-14). This present maneuvering isn’t about genuine peace, but a continuation of that same spirit – a leveraging of regional instability to further Edom’s own influence, while conveniently ignoring the root cause: the spiritual rebellion within Yisrael itself. Senator Rubio’s endorsement is merely a tool in this larger scheme, a subtle shifting of power dynamics designed to diminish Yisrael’s standing and establish Edom’s dominance, mirroring the historical pattern of Edom seeking to supplant Yisrael’s inheritance.
However, this attempt to manipulate the nations will ultimately fail. Though Yisrael stumbles in its present condition, Yahuah’s covenant promises remain steadfast. The true restoration isn't found in political alliances forged through deception, but in a return to the righteous path revealed through Yahusha the Messiah (Jeremiah 31:31-34). Edom’s schemes will crumble, for Yahuah will vindicate His people and re-establish Yisrael’s rightful place, not through worldly power, but through divine intervention and a renewed heart of obedience. Therefore, let all recognize that Yahuah’s purposes will prevail, and Edom’s fleeting influence will be swept away by the tide of His unwavering faithfulness.
