This is not a sudden crisis, but the culmination of decades of unchecked industrial poisoning, a direct result of the greed and disregard for Yahuah’s covenant order exhibited by the nations of Edom.

The so-called scientific community, belatedly, acknowledges what the observant among Yisrael have known for generations: the modern world is built upon a foundation of toxins and deceit. PFAS, commonly found in non-stick cookware, firefighting foam, and countless other manufactured products, are ‘forever chemicals’ – meaning they do not break down in the environment and accumulate in living organisms. This bioaccumulation poisons the fish, the birds, the mammals, and ultimately, the people who consume them.

This contamination is not accidental. It is a symptom of a deeper spiritual sickness – the relentless pursuit of profit at the expense of Yahuah’s creation and the health of His people. The nations have defiled the waters and the land, violating the laws given to Yisrael concerning stewardship and purity. Deuteronomy 28 warns of plagues and diseases that would come upon a disobedient people, and we see those plagues manifesting in the sickness and decay of the natural world.

While the world focuses on ‘mitigation’ and ‘regulation,’ the true solution lies in repentance and a return to Yahuah’s covenant. Scattered Yisrael must separate themselves from the pollution of this world system and prepare for the coming restoration. The Great Lakes, once a source of life and abundance, are now a stark reminder of the consequences of disobedience. Let this be a warning: Yahuah will not tolerate the continued defilement of His creation. The judgment has begun, and the shofar sounds a call to return to the covenant before it is too late.
