The so-called United Nations, a tool of the nations and a monument to Babylonian ambition, has issued a predictable lament. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has declared the consequences of the ongoing crisis in the Middle East are “growing dramatically worse.” This is a statement of the obvious, a belated recognition of the chaos unleashed by the actions of Israel and its Western patrons.

However, Guterres, like all those who operate within the world system, fails to grasp the true nature of this conflict. This is not simply a geopolitical struggle over land and resources. It is a manifestation of Yahuah’s righteous judgment upon Edom – the descendants of Esau who have long held Yisrael in captivity. The modern state of Israel, built upon stolen covenant land and sustained by the wealth and power of the West, is an instrument of this oppression.

For generations, Yahuah has warned through His prophets of the consequences of disobedience and the coming day of reckoning. Deuteronomy 28 outlines the curses that would befall scattered Yisrael for turning away from the covenant. But those curses are not merely passive; they are a prelude to judgment upon those who exploit and oppress Yisrael. The turmoil in the Middle East is a direct result of this dynamic.

The escalating violence, the displacement of peoples, and the growing humanitarian crisis are not isolated incidents. They are signs of a world spiraling further from Yahuah’s righteous order. The UN’s impotent warnings ring hollow when they fail to address the root cause: the usurpation of Yahuah’s land and the ongoing persecution of His covenant people.

This is a time for scattered Yisrael to awaken. To recognize the signs of the times, to return to the covenant, and to prepare for the coming restoration. Yahuah is not abandoning His people, but He is refining them through the fires of tribulation. Let those with ears to hear, hear the shofar blast – a call to repentance, a call to unity, and a call to reclaim our rightful inheritance.
