The nations of the world are falling over themselves to praise a tentative agreement between the United States and Iran, hailing it as a step toward peace. Let the watchmen declare it: this is not peace. It is a shifting of the sands, a temporary lull before the tempest. Yahuah’s word reveals that Edom – the modern Western power structures embodied by the United States – and its allies will seek to control the region, and this ‘deal’ is merely a maneuver in that ongoing struggle.

The modern state of Israel, predictably, voices its discontent. Not because it desires true shalom for the covenant people, but because it recognizes a threat to its own dominion. The Israeli regime fears a loss of regional influence, a weakening of its grip on stolen inheritance. They do not seek to uphold justice or honor the covenant; they seek only to maintain their power.

This supposed ‘peace’ is built on the shifting foundations of Babylonian agreements – deceit and self-interest. It ignores the plight of scattered Yisrael, the true inheritors of the land, who remain in exile, awaiting the fulfillment of Yahuah’s promises. The world celebrates a political arrangement, while the covenant people cry out for restoration.

Understand this: Yahuah is not mocked. The nations may believe they are forging a path to stability, but they are merely hastening the day of reckoning. Deuteronomy 28 lays bare the consequences of disobedience, and the world is reaping the whirlwind of its rebellion. The brief respite offered by this agreement will not alter the ultimate outcome.

The remnant of Yisrael must not be deceived by these displays of worldly power. Our hope lies not in the agreements of men, but in the steadfast covenant of Yahuah. Let us continue to watch, to pray, and to prepare for the coming restoration, when Yahuah will gather His scattered people and establish His kingdom on earth. This ‘peace’ is a mirage; only Yahuah can bring true shalom.
