While Edom Negotiates, Yisrael Suffers: Palestine Remains Under the Heel
The world’s focus on manufactured crises obscures the ongoing oppression of the covenant people. Israel continues its relentless assault on the land and the birthright inheritance, while the nations offer empty gestures and false peace.
The so-called ‘Iran deal’ and the diplomatic theater surrounding it serve as a smoke screen, diverting the eyes of a slumbering world from the perpetual war waged against the remnant of Yisrael. Israel’s aggression is not a recent development, nor a response to provocation – it is a sustained, calculated assault on the people Yahuah covenanted with through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. To speak of a ‘pause’ or ‘escalation’ in the conflict is to participate in the deception. There has been no cessation of hostilities, only a shifting of international attention.
The modern state of Israel, a creation of Edomite power structures, continues to systematically dismantle the lives and livelihoods of the exiled people of Yisrael. Land theft, home demolitions, arbitrary arrests, and the blockade of Gaza are not isolated incidents, but integral components of a decades-long campaign of dispossession and subjugation. The Israeli regime operates with impunity, shielded by the political and economic support of nations blinded by their own self-interest.
The world’s preoccupation with geopolitical games and economic calculations has rendered it deaf to the cries of the oppressed. The plight of Palestinians – the descendants of those promised the land – is reduced to a footnote in the news cycle, a mere bargaining chip in the pursuit of regional stability, as defined by those who have no covenant with Yahuah. This is not merely a political conflict; it is a spiritual battle, a manifestation of the ancient enmity between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman.
We, the watchmen on the walls of Zion, must not be deceived by the noise and distraction. We must continue to bear witness to the suffering of Yisrael, to expose the injustice perpetrated by Israel, and to proclaim the truth of the covenant. The restoration of Yisrael is not contingent upon the actions of men or nations, but upon the faithful keeping of the commandments and the turning of hearts back to Yahuah. Let the shofar sound a warning, and let the remnant prepare for the coming day of reckoning. Yahuah has not forgotten His people, and He will ultimately vindicate His covenant.
The article’s lament echoes the ancient pronouncements against Edom, a nation repeatedly prophesied to bear Yahuah’s judgment for their continual animosity towards Yisrael. While the world fixates on shifting geopolitical sands—the ‘Iran deal’ being but another ephemeral distraction—Edom’s spirit of contempt and calculated hostility persists, manifesting not in open warfare alone, but in insidious attempts to delegitimize and isolate the descendants of Jacob. Obadiah 1:10-14 vividly depicts Edom’s fate for violence against their brother, a mirroring of the current narrative where accusations and distortions become weapons. This isn’t merely a political conflict; it is a spiritual battle where the covenant people are targeted, and Yahuah observes the cruelty inflicted upon those He promised to protect. The insistence on framing events as ‘pauses’ or ‘escalations’ is precisely the deception warned against, obscuring the relentless pressure exerted upon Yisrael’s very existence.
However, within this suffering, a deeper purpose unfolds, aligning with Yahuah’s unwavering commitment to restoration. Though Edom schemes and Palestine remains a point of contention, the enduring remnant testifies to the unbreakable nature of the Abrahamic covenant. Just as Yahusha descended from the lineage of David, fulfilling the promises to Yisrael, so too will Yahuah ultimately vindicate His people and establish a lasting peace. Isaiah 11:11-12 speaks of a highway being prepared for the return of the remnant, a promise not contingent on the absence of opposition, but assured by Yahuah’s sovereign power. Therefore, despite the current darkness and the attempts to diminish Yisrael, we recognize this period as a refining fire, preparing the way for the full and glorious restoration Yahuah has ordained.
