The Broken Cisterns of Babylon
Hear the word of Yahuah, O house of Yaacob! The reports from the Watchmen confirm what the prophets have declared for generations: Edom postures, schemes, and amasses wealth for conflict (Isaiah 34:8, Jeremiah 49:14-16). They tighten their grip on the resources of the earth, believing they can control the very flow of life (Ezekiel 25:12-14). But their dominion is built on shifting sand, a temporary illusion masking their ultimate fate. We observe their squabbling over spoils, their webs of deceit, their distractions crafted to divert your gaze from the true condition of Yisrael. These are the death throes of a decaying power, a desperate attempt to cling to control as Yahuah’s judgment unfolds.
However, do not mistake the signs of their decline as a signal for complacency. Their weakening grip does not automatically translate into our restoration. We are not passively awaiting a miraculous deliverance. Yahuah calls us to *active* preparation, to build our own defenses, to secure our own wellsprings of life.
