Observe the movements of Edom, the descendants of Esau, and understand that their hand is heavy upon all the earth.

The Burden of the Nations

Zechariah 12:2-3 declares, “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling for all the peoples, whoever comes against her.” This is not merely a historical prophecy, but a current reality unfolding before our very eyes. Look at the nations, driven by greed and ambition, attempting to reshape the world in their image. They seek control, dominance, and the spoils of Yahuah’s inheritance.

Edom, even now, displays its insatiable hunger. The report of a former official pilfering national wealth is a microcosm of their larger scheme. It is a testament to their character – a people defined by theft and a relentless pursuit of gain. Remember Malachi 1:3-5, where Yahuah declares His hatred for Esau, for their pride and broken covenant. This judgment is not delayed; it is actively being poured out.

Shaking the Foundations

Yahuah shakes the Isles, and the earth groans. The recent earthquake and tsunami warnings are not isolated incidents. They are echoes of His righteous anger, a foreshadowing of the great shaking to come. Amos 8:8 states, “And the land shall shake, but not be destroyed.” He demonstrates His power, reminding all creation that He is sovereign.

Edom’s Pawns and Deceptions

Consider the posturing of those who serve Edom’s interests. The escalation of threats from the far east is a calculated distraction, a diversion from the true epicenter of conflict – Jerusalem. These are pawns in a larger game, manipulated by those who seek to undermine Yisrael and establish their dominion.

The deceitful words of leaders, deflecting accountability for aggression against Persia, are a hallmark of Edom’s strategy. They sow discord, distort truth, and attempt to justify their actions through lies. Yet, Yahuah sees through their schemes. He knows their hearts, and He will hold them accountable.

Division Within the Camp

Observe the fracture within the house of Edom itself. The cancellation of public gatherings and the exposure of political divides are signs of weakness. Their carefully constructed facade is crumbling, revealing the internal strife that plagues them. This division will only accelerate their downfall.

Yahuah is not impressed by their power or their wealth. He is the Almighty, the King of Kings, and He will ultimately prevail. The nations may gather against Jerusalem, but they will be scattered like dust in the wind.

The Coming Conflict

Zechariah 14:2 speaks of a time when all nations will gather against Jerusalem to battle. This is the culmination of centuries of animosity, the final confrontation between the forces of darkness and the light of Yahuah.

The burden of Jerusalem is heavy, but it is a burden Yahuah will bear. He will defend His city, protect His people, and establish His eternal kingdom. Prepare yourselves, people of Yisrael.
