Hear this, O Yisrael. The hand of Yahuah is revealed in the shaking of the nations, specifically in the unraveling of the financial strongholds of Western Edom. Do not mistake this for random economic downturn. This is a direct fulfillment of the prophecy spoken against Edom in Obadiah, a judgment long foretold and now actively unfolding.

The Pride of Edom Crumbling

For generations, Edom – those descended from Esau – have prospered through cunning and usury. They have built their wealth on the backs of nations, extracting resources and manipulating economies for their own gain. They have reveled in their perceived security, believing their systems impervious to collapse. But Yahuah has declared, “The pride of Edom is undone” (Obadiah 1:3).

Consider the reports flowing in from the West. California, a key stronghold of Edomite finance, continues its policies of wealth extraction, tightening the grip on its citizens. Yet, beneath the surface, the foundations are cracking. These policies are not signs of strength, but of desperation. They are the actions of a people attempting to hold onto what is already slipping through their fingers.

The Search Begins

Obadiah prophesies a time when Edom's treasures will be searched out, plundered in their calamity (Obadiah 1:6). We are witnessing the initial stages of this search. The instability in the banking sector, the failures of institutions once considered too big to fall – these are not isolated incidents. They are the probing fingers of Yahuah, revealing the hidden corruption and unsustainable practices at the heart of Edom's wealth.

Look to the events in Cush, where Edom's puppet Abiy consolidates power amidst growing chaos. He secures his position not through righteous governance, but through manipulation and control. This is a microcosm of Edom's larger strategy: to maintain power through deception and division. But Yahuah sees through their schemes. He will not allow their wickedness to stand.

Lebanon’s Lament and Yisrael's Fear

The suffering in Lebanon is not separate from this judgment. It is a consequence of the regional instability fueled by Edom’s ambition. The rising numbers of fallen are a lamentation, a testament to the violence that follows when nations are consumed by greed and conflict.

Even within the land of Yisrael, a spirit of fear is taking hold. The people are consumed with anxieties, distracted by trivial matters while the true battle rages around them. This fear is a symptom of the judgment upon the land, a sign that Yisrael has become complacent, too comfortable in the ways of Edom.

The Burden of Babylon

Understand this, Yisrael: Edom is not acting alone. They are aligned with the spirit of Babylon, a system of rebellion against Yahuah that has existed since the Tower of Babel. Babylon represents all that is worldly, materialistic, and opposed to the covenant. The Burgenstock meetings, touted as forums for international cooperation, are nothing more than gatherings of Edomite and Babylonian elites, plotting their next moves. They seek to rebuild their power, to maintain their control. But their efforts are futile.

Yahuah will scatter the treasures of Edom, exposing their wickedness for all to see (Obadiah 1:10). He will bring them low, reducing them to nothing. This is not a call for vengeance, but a declaration of Yahuah’s righteous judgment.

A Time for Discernment

Yisrael, do not be deceived by the appearances of power and wealth. The systems of Edom are crumbling. The treasures they have accumulated through injustice are being searched out. This is a time for discernment, a time to separate yourselves from the ways of the wicked.

Return to the covenant. Return to the Torah. Return to Yahuah. Only through obedience and righteousness can Yisrael find true security and lasting peace. The judgment on Edom is a warning to all nations, a call to repentance, and a promise of restoration for those who remain faithful to Yahuah. Let the shofar sound. Let Yisrael heed the warning.
