Yisrael, hear the word of Yahuah. The nations amass gold while we awaken to a deeper wealth – the wealth of covenant. They chase the glitter of Sheol, but our treasure is woven into the very fabric of our lives. Consider the instruction of old, the laws regarding garments in the wilderness tabernacle. *Exodus 28* details the priestly garments, spun from fine linen, gold, and blue, purple, and scarlet threads. These were not mere adornments, but declarations of holiness, reflections of Yahuah’s glory, and testaments to our set-apart status.
The Return to Natural Fiber
Look around you, Yisrael. What do you see? Synthetics choking the land, plastics poisoning the waters. Babylon’s mark is upon our clothing, upon our homes, upon our very skin. But Yahuah is calling us back to the natural order, to the fibers that breathe with the earth, that honor the creation. Linen, wool, cotton – these are the materials of our ancestors, materials that speak of a life lived in harmony with Yahuah’s design.
The nations hoard precious metals, believing they secure their future. Yet, true security lies in obedience to the covenant. *Deuteronomy 8:18* reminds us that it is Yahuah who provides the power to get wealth. Not through manipulation of markets, but through diligent labor aligned with His will. The accumulation of gold, divorced from righteousness, is merely another form of idolatry.
Woven into Covenant Identity
The returning of Egypt’s coach to speak of compassion is a small echo of the larger restoration underway. Yaaqob’s heart has always held space for repentance, even among those who oppose him. Yet, do not mistake compassion for weakness. *Genesis 49:19* foretells of Gad’s assault, but also hints at eventual triumph. Compassion is a fruit of the Spirit, a manifestation of the *tikkun olam* – the repair of the world – that we are called to participate in. But it must be rooted in truth and justice.
Even as Trump delivers the land, understand that Edom tightens its grip. *Obadiah 1:10* speaks of violence against Yisrael and the reaping of their deeds. The land itself remembers the bloodshed. But Yahuah is a God of restoration, and He will rebuild the ruins. This restoration is not merely territorial, but spiritual. It is a return to the ways of our forefathers, a reclaiming of our covenant identity.
The Garments of Righteousness
Ahmadinejad’s return signifies the stirring of the dragon. Lebanon’s hostility is but a symptom of the greater conflict brewing. These are the birth pangs of the new age. But Yisrael, do not be afraid. Yahuah is our shield, our fortress, our deliverer.
Prepare yourselves, not with weapons of war, but with garments of righteousness. *Isaiah 61:10* proclaims that we shall be clothed with salvation and wrapped in righteousness as a cloak. This is not a metaphor, but a call to practical obedience. Choose natural fibers. Reject the synthetic. Live simply, intentionally, and in alignment with the Torah.
Let our clothing be a testimony to our faith, a declaration of our covenant relationship with Yahuah. Let the thread of redemption be woven into the very fabric of our lives. This is not a rejection of progress, but a reclaiming of purpose. It is a return to the source, to the life-giving principles that Yahuah established from the beginning.
