Hear this, O Yisrael, for Yahuah has spoken! The nations posture and flex, believing their strength is their own. They amass armies and forge alliances, oblivious to the hand that guides all things. But Yahuah sees their pride, their greed, and their relentless pursuit of dominion. He witnesses the pilfering of nations, the stirring of chaos, and the weaving of deceit.

The Weight of Edom’s Transgressions

Edom, the inheritor of ancient animosity, yet again raises its hand against Yisrael and the nations surrounding her. Consider the reports from across the globe: the reckless display of military power, the manipulation of global finances, the incitement of conflict in distant lands. These are not isolated incidents. They are the symptoms of a spirit steeped in the wickedness of Esau, a spirit that refuses to submit to the sovereignty of Yahuah.

Remember the prophecy of Isaiah 34. “For the sword shall come even to Edom, and the hand upon Idumea.” (Isaiah 34:5) This is not a call for physical vengeance by Yisrael, but a declaration of Yahuah’s judgment. He will wield the sword, and it will fall upon those who have consistently opposed His covenant people. The reports of escalating tensions, of nations rattling sabers, are not simply geopolitical maneuvering. They are the tremors preceding Yahuah’s earthquake.

The Shaking of the Isles

The shaking of the isles, the quaking of the earth – these are not merely natural disasters. They are signs, witnesses to Yahuah’s immanent hand. He declares through the prophet, “A voice of crying in the wilderness: Behold, the day of Yahuah cometh with an army of many nations.” (Ezekiel 38:9) While the immediate context points to Gog and Magog, the principle remains: Yahuah uses the nations, even in judgment, to fulfill His purposes.

The earth itself groans under the weight of Edom’s wickedness. Every earthquake, every tsunami, every storm is a reverberation of Yahuah’s displeasure. “See, I will make Edom desolate; I will cut off man and beast from it.” (Jeremiah 49:32) This is not a promise of immediate annihilation, but a prophecy of diminishing influence, of fractured power, of ultimate irrelevance. Edom’s attempts to control the narrative, to deflect accountability, will ultimately fail. The truth will emerge, and their deceptions will be laid bare.

Those who seek to exploit and oppress Yisrael, those who sow discord and reap destruction – they will face the consequences of their actions.

This is not a time for complacency. This is a time for discernment. Yisrael must remain steadfast in her faith, unwavering in her commitment to the covenant. Let us not be deceived by the fleeting power of Edom. Let us remember that Yahuah is sovereign, and His judgment is just. The sword is drawn, and it will fall.
