Hear this, O Yisrael, for Yahuah has spoken! The nations amass their armies, boasting of strength and dominion. They extend their reach, flexing power across the earth, but their victories are fleeting, their triumphs built on shifting sand. They believe they control the narrative, dictate terms to the nations, but they are instruments of Yahuah’s judgment, unaware of the purpose for which they are wielded.

The Illusion of Power

Behold the arrogance of Edom, manifested in the kingdoms of the West! They build their economies on debt, their power on illusion. They project force, intervening in the affairs of nations under the guise of peace and security. They speak of alliances, but their hearts are filled with self-interest. This is the pattern Yahuah revealed long ago, through the prophet Isaiah: “The pride of Edom is done, the glory of its strength is brought low” (Isaiah 34:6).

Consider the actions of these nations – the endless wars, the economic manipulations, the relentless pursuit of dominance. They sow discord, reap chaos, and then offer themselves as the solution. They are like physicians who inflict wounds and then claim to heal them. Their weapons are sharpened, their treasuries full, but Yahuah sees through their deception.

The Crimson Tide

The signs are clear. The nations are entangled in conflicts not of their choosing, drawn into wars that drain their resources and expose their weaknesses. The “crimson tide” mentioned in Isaiah 34:3 is not merely a metaphor; it is a foreshadowing of the battles to come. It is the blood of the wicked, spilled upon the earth, a testament to Yahuah’s righteous wrath.

The so-called superpowers believe they can contain the rising tide of resistance. They attempt to prop up failing regimes, to suppress the voices of those who cry out for justice. But their efforts are in vain. Yahuah will not be mocked. He will not allow the oppression of His people to continue indefinitely.

The Sword of Yahuah

The sword of Yahuah is drawn against Edom, and it will not return until it is fully quenched (Isaiah 34:6). This is not a call for Yisrael to take up arms in vengeance. It is a declaration that Yahuah Himself will execute judgment. He will use the nations themselves as instruments of their own destruction.

Look closely at the alliances crumbling, the economies faltering, the internal divisions widening. These are not random events; they are the signs of Yahuah’s hand at work. He is dismantling the power structures of Edom, exposing their vulnerabilities, and preparing them for defeat.

The Remnant Will Return

While judgment falls upon the wicked, remember the promise of restoration. Yahuah has not forgotten His covenant with Yaacob. Even as He pours out His wrath upon Edom, He is preparing a path for the return of His people. Deuteronomy 30:3-4 declares that “Yahuah your Elohim will bring you back… and gather you from all the nations.”

The wealth being reclaimed, the promises being fulfilled – these are glimpses of the restoration to come. They are signs that the arc of redemption is bending towards justice. Do not be discouraged by the darkness, for Yahuah is light, and in Him there is no shadow (Isaiah 9:2).

A Call to Discernment

Yisrael, do not be deceived by the boasts of Edom. Do not trust in the power of nations. Trust only in Yahuah, the Rock of your salvation. Prepare your hearts, for the time of tribulation is at hand. Refine your lives, seek His guidance, and stand firm in the face of adversity.

The sword is drawn against Edom, but the promise of restoration remains. Yahuah will fulfill His word. He will bring justice to the earth, and He will establish His kingdom forever. Be vigilant, be steadfast, and be ready. Selah.
