The hand of Yahuah is revealed in the fracturing of Edom, a judgment long foretold (Obadiah 1:10-14). We see it in the exposed corruption, the internal strife, the silencing of truth-tellers. But do not mistake these tremors for the *end* of the shaking. They are birth pangs – the labor pains preceding the restoration of Yisrael and the establishment of Yahuah’s Kingdom in its fullness. As Edom’s grip loosens, a new imperative is placed upon the covenant people: to secure our sustenance, to cultivate independence, and to rebuild the storehouses of Zion.
