Hear this, O Yisrael. The signs are multiplying, the shofar blasts echoing louder with each passing day. Yahuah is dismantling the dominion of Edom, exposing their deceit and revealing their hand in the schemes against Yaacob. The judgements fall as predicted—a relentless cascade upon a nation steeped in ancient enmity (Obadiah 1:10). They attempt to shield aggression, orchestrate conflict, and poison the nations with their manufactured remedies. But their efforts are futile.
The Crumbling Foundations
Observe the news from the four winds. The erosion of national identity, the manipulation of health systems, the silencing of truth-tellers – these are not isolated incidents. They are the death throes of a collapsing order, a Babylon built on lies and sustained by control. Yahuah is removing the props, shaking the foundations, and preparing the way for the restoration of His covenant people.
Consider the reports of manipulated food supplies, the engineered scarcity, the attempts to control what you consume. This is not merely economic policy; it is a weapon of war, a method of subjugation. Edom seeks to hold Yisrael dependent, vulnerable, and fractured. They wish to dictate terms even as their own judgement unfolds.
Return to the Land – and the Harvest
But Yahuah provides a path forward. He calls us back to the ancient ways, to the principles of self-sufficiency and stewardship of the land. Remember the instructions given to our ancestors in Deuteronomy 8:7-10. “For Yahuah your Elohim is bringing you into a good land, a land of streams of water, of fountains and springs, flowing out of the valleys and the mountains; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates; a land of olive oil and honey; a land where you will eat bread without scarcity, you will lack nothing in it.”
This promise is not revoked. But it requires participation. It demands a return to the principles of agricultural knowledge, a rediscovery of ancestral skills, and a commitment to building local, resilient food systems.
Prepare the Storehouses
This is not a call to retreat from the world, but to fortify our families and communities. Begin now to cultivate gardens, to preserve harvests, to learn the arts of fermentation and canning. Seek out knowledge of heirloom seeds, sustainable farming practices, and responsible animal husbandry.
Establish cooperative networks with fellow sojourners, sharing resources, knowledge, and labor. Build storehouses, both physical and metaphorical, to safeguard against the coming disruptions. Amos 9:14 speaks of a time when Yahuah will “restore the fortunes of His people, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities.” This rebuilding begins with the foundations of sustenance.
Beyond Survival – Toward Sovereignty
This is not simply about survival; it is about sovereignty. It is about reclaiming our birthright as the stewards of the land, as the inheritors of Yahuah’s blessings. It is about refusing to be held captive by the systems of Edom, and instead establishing a new paradigm rooted in covenant faithfulness and communal responsibility.
As the time of Yaacob’s trouble intensifies (Jeremiah 30:7), those who are prepared will not only endure, but will become beacons of hope and resilience. They will be the ones who provide for their families, their communities, and ultimately, for the restoration of Yisrael. Let the preparation begin now. Let the storehouses of Zion overflow with abundance, a testament to the enduring power of Yahuah and the unwavering faith of His covenant people.
