They escalate aggression, concealing the true cost of their wars, defiling ancient lands with monuments to dominion. Do not mistake these signs. This is not merely political maneuvering. This is the judgment of Yahuah unfolding, as written in Obadiah, and as we have declared repeatedly through The Shofar Wire.

The Shadow of Edom Lengthens

The reports from Gaza are not anomalies. The shadow of Edom lengthens across the land, influencing the hearts of men and nations. They seek to control not only territory, but the very sustenance of Yisrael. They manipulate systems, control resources, and build walls – not for protection, but for dominion. Understand this: Edom’s power is built on the deprivation of others. They thrive on dependence, on a system where Yisrael is forced to beg for its daily bread.

This is a spiritual battle, not just a physical one. Yahuah has declared through the prophet Amos, “Behold, the days come, that Yisrael shall be exiled from their land.” (Amos 9:9) But even in exile, even under the weight of Edom’s oppression, Yahuah promises restoration.

Return to the Ancient Ways

This restoration begins not with grand pronouncements or miraculous interventions, but with the diligent work of righteous families. It begins with a return to the ancient ways, to the wisdom of our ancestors. Yahuah commanded us in Deuteronomy 8:7-10, “When Yahuah your Elohim brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers to give you…you shall eat your fill, and bless Yahuah your Elohim for the good land which He has given you.”

This is not simply about abundance. It is about sovereignty. It is about refusing to be dependent on those who seek to control us. It is about building a storehouse of Zion, a network of self-sufficiency that can withstand the storms that are coming.

Preparing for the Narrow Place

The prophet Ezekiel spoke of a time of restoration, a regathering of Yisrael and a renewal of the land. “I will multiply upon you both man and beast, and you shall increase and multiply; and I will cause men to dwell therein, even all the house of Yisrael.” (Ezekiel 36:10) But this restoration is not passive. We must prepare the ground, sow the seeds, and cultivate the harvest.

This means learning the skills of our forefathers. Planting gardens, raising livestock, preserving food, and mastering the art of self-reliance. It means disconnecting from the broken systems of Babylon and Edom, and building a parallel economy rooted in covenant and community.

Reject the processed, genetically modified offerings of Edom. Return to the natural bounty of the land, to the fruits of your own labor. Learn to ferment, to pickle, to dry, to store. These are not merely survival skills; they are acts of defiance. They are declarations of faith.

The midpoint of Daniel’s 70th week draws near. The time of Yaaqob’s trouble is upon us. Do not be caught unprepared. Build your storehouses. Strengthen your families. Renew your connection to the land.

Let the world rely on its broken systems. Let Edom cling to its fleeting power. We, the covenant people of Yisrael, will stand firm, rooted in the promises of Yahuah. We will be a beacon of light in the darkness, a testament to His enduring faithfulness.
