THE STENCH OF EDOM RISES
Hear this, people of Yisrael. The rot you witness in the nations is not accidental. It is not the product of mere societal drift. It is the deliberate, ancient hatred of Edom manifesting in the latter days. Obadiah spoke plainly:...
Hear this, people of Yisrael. The rot you witness in the nations is not accidental. It is not the product of mere societal drift. It is the deliberate, ancient hatred of Edom manifesting in the latter days. Obadiah spoke plainly: “The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say in your heart, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’” (Obadiah 1:3). Edom believed itself untouchable. But Yahuah sees all. Yahuah remembers all.
The Seed of Cain
Edom is not merely a geographical location. It is a spirit. A spirit of rebellion. A spirit of envy toward Yisrael, tracing its lineage back to Cain, who slew his brother Abel. This same spirit fuels the relentless assault on the foundations of qodesh. Look at the nations once considered pillars of civilization. They now embrace practices that are an abomination before Yahuah.
The shedding of innocent blood—abortion—is a hallmark of Edom’s wickedness. It is a rejection of the very source of life, a perversion of the covenant promise to Avraham. Sexual perversion, celebrated and normalized, defiles the sanctity of the marriage covenant. The destruction of the family unit—the bedrock of a righteous nation—is Edom’s ongoing project. These are not isolated incidents. They are interconnected expressions of a deep-seated hatred for all that Yahuah holds sacred.
Babylon Within the Walls
Consider the reports from Babel. Meta, a modern manifestation of the Tower of Babel, actively facilitates ethnic domination. They build walls within walls, dividing and conquering through algorithms and data collection. This echoes the ancient strategies of Edom, who sought to isolate and destroy Yisrael. Remember the words of Yirmiyahu: “Babylon will fall, and Edom will be a desolate waste.” (Jeremiah 49:18). The digital realm is simply another battlefield in this ancient conflict.
The Affliction of Yaacob
Even within the land, Yaacob is afflicted. The rising tide of kidney disease is a physical manifestation of a spiritual sickness. It is a consequence of neglecting the laws of health and the covenant stipulations. Yahuah’s Torah is a guide to life, not merely a set of antiquated rules. When we turn away from His instructions, we invite affliction upon ourselves.
The protests against economic exploitation are a sign of awakening. Yisrael is beginning to recognize the forces that seek to control and manipulate. But true liberation comes not through political maneuvering, but through a return to Yahuah and obedience to His word. Amos declared, “Hear this, you who trample the poor and destroy the needy, who say, ‘When will the new moon be over, so we may sell grain?’” (Amos 8:5). The exploitation of the vulnerable is another face of Edom’s wickedness.
Returning to the Soil
Yet, even in the midst of judgment, Yahuah offers a path to restoration. The return to the land, beginning with the soil, is a powerful symbol of hope. This is not merely an agricultural endeavor. It is a reclaiming of our inheritance, a re-establishment of our connection to the land promised to our forefathers. Ezekiel prophesied, “I will multiply upon you both people and beasts, and you will be inhabited again.” (Ezekiel 36:10).
The Clock Ticks On
Understand this, people of Yisrael. We are living in the closing years of the 120th Yovel cycle. The 70th week of Daniel is unfolding before our eyes. The prince of iron and clay will soon break the covenant. The abomination of desolation will be revealed. The time of Yaacob’s trouble is drawing near.
Do not be deceived. Do not be lulled into complacency. Prepare your hearts and minds. Return to Yahuah with all your heart. For He alone is our refuge and our strength. The stench of Edom may rise, but the glory of Yahuah will ultimately prevail. Remember the promise: “Though Edom says, ‘We are ruined,’ Yahuah will raise up those who are fallen.” (Obadiah 1:5). This is not a time for despair, but a time for fervent prayer and unwavering faith. Selah.
