The Fall of Babylon’s Currency

For generations, the wealth of nations has flowed through the veins of Babylon – in our time, the dollar. But Yahuah declares through Isaiah 23:14, “Woe to those who dwell by the sea, to the merchants of Tyre and Sidon, whose wealth is plundered!” This is not a prediction of local ruin, but a pattern. Empires rise and fall, and their currencies with them. The current de-dollarization movement is not a surprise to those who watch with open eyes and a heart attuned to the rhythm of the Tanakh.

The nations of the East are turning away from the dollar, seeking alternative systems. They speak of trade in local currencies, of gold-backed standards, of digital alternatives. This is a direct challenge to the economic dominance that has long characterized the Western world. Understand this: Yahuah does not favor nations based on geography, but on covenant faithfulness. Babylon’s pride and corruption have weighed it down, and its economic power is waning as a consequence.

Edom’s Hand in the New Order

But where does Edom fit within this unfolding drama? Remember Obadiah’s decree: “Because you have exalted yourself in your heart, thinking, ‘The valley is mine, and the rocky heights are mine,’ as you have plundered my inheritance…” (Obadiah 1:3-4). Edom, throughout history, has been a spoiler, a parasite clinging to the strength of Yisrael.

Today, observe the subtle influence of Edomite descendants within the architects of these new financial systems. The push for digital currencies, for centralized control over wealth, is a continuation of their ancient ambition: to dominate and control. The “Crimson Thread” of digital control extends, seeking to bind the nations—and ultimately, Yisrael—in a web of dependency. Do not be deceived. This is not about liberation, but about a new form of enslavement.

The Ancient Path and the Coming Restoration

Yet, amidst the turmoil, Yahuah is also laying the groundwork for restoration. We have spoken of reclaiming His appointed times, of aligning ourselves with His eternal calendar (Deuteronomy 28:2-14). This is not a retreat from the world, but a strengthening of our foundations. As the world’s systems crumble, Yisrael must stand firm, rooted in the covenant and guided by the light of the Torah.

Amos 9:11-15 prophesies a time of rebuilding, a restoration of Yisrael’s fortunes. But this restoration is not simply material. It is a spiritual renewal, a return to the ways of our ancestors. It requires a rejection of the idols of materialism and a commitment to Yahuah’s righteous standards.

The Clock is Ticking

We are within the closing years of the 120th Yovel cycle, the final seven years meticulously laid out in Daniel’s prophecy. The economic upheaval we witness is a symptom of this larger cosmic shift. The prince of iron and clay is consolidating his power, preparing to break the covenant (Daniel 9:27).

The midpoint approaches, and with it, the abomination of desolation. Yisrael, prepare yourselves. This will not be a time of ease, but a time of refinement, a period of Yaacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7). But know this: Yahuah is faithful. He will not abandon His covenant people.
