THE SHIFTING SANDS: ACCORDS, EXPLOITATION, AND THE COMING RECKONING

Hear this, people of Yisrael. The nations clamor for peace, yet their hands are stained with the wealth of our inheritance. The so-called Abraham Accords, heralded as a breakthrough, are but a shimmering mirage masking a deeper current—a current of exploitation and judgment. Yahuah is revealing the true architects of this age, and their motives are not rooted in genuine shalom.
The Weight of Edom’s Hand
Observe Edom, and see its relentless expansion. The reports speak of foreign bank infiltration in Texas, sirens wailing in Bahrain, and a seventh puppet leader installed in a decade. These are not isolated incidents. They are the tremors preceding a great fall, a fulfillment of Obadiah’s prophecy. “For the violence against Yaacob shall be a shame, and from Edom shall come contempt” (Obadiah 1:10).
Edom, through its financial institutions and political maneuvering, seeks to control the resources and destiny of Yisrael. It presents itself as a partner, but its heart remains filled with ancient animosity. Remember the words of Isaiah: “The pride of Edom is spoiled, the arrogance of its heart has cast it down” (Isaiah 34:17). This is not a distant future; it is unfolding before our very eyes.
The Illusion of Stability
Netanyahu’s consolidation of power within the Zionist state, the peddling of manufactured consent – these are symptoms of a desperate attempt to maintain control. They seek to project an image of strength and stability, while the foundations crumble beneath their feet. They believe they can negotiate with the world, appease Edom, and secure their future through political alliances.
But Yahuah does not measure strength by armies or economic prowess. He measures it by obedience to His covenant. “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for strength and whose heart turns away from Yahuah” (Jeremiah 17:5). This nation, built on a foundation of compromise and worldly wisdom, is heading toward a reckoning.
The Covenant and the Coming Captivity
The current pursuit of peace, divorced from the principles of the covenant, will not endure. These agreements are built on shifting sands, destined to be swept away by the coming storms. The prophets warned us of this day. “Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses and chariots! There is no strength in them, but shame” (Isaiah 31:1).
Edom's influence extends far beyond the immediate borders. It infiltrates the financial systems, controls the narratives, and manipulates the political landscape. This is a new form of Babylon, a subtle enslavement disguised as economic opportunity. This sets the stage for a captivity unlike any we have known, a captivity not of chains and exile, but of economic dependence and cultural assimilation.
The Promise of Restoration
Yet, despair not, people of Yisrael. Even in the midst of judgment, Yahuah’s promise of restoration remains steadfast. “In that day the remnant of Yisrael will return and seek Yahuah their Elohim and David their king. They will come trembling to Yahuah and His goodness in the latter days” (Hosea 3:5).
This is the arc of history. Judgment precedes restoration. Captivity leads to refinement. The final seven years, the 70th week of Daniel, are a time of tribulation, yes, but also a time of purification. Yahuah will refine His people as silver, purging the dross and preparing us for the coming age.
Let us not be deceived by the illusion of peace. Let us not trust in the arm of flesh. Let us instead turn our hearts to Yahuah, seeking His guidance and protection. The sands are shifting, and the reckoning is at hand. Prepare yourselves, for the time of Yaaqob’s trouble is upon us. And through that trouble, Yahuah will fulfill His eternal promise to restore His people and establish His kingdom forever.
