Yisrael, hear the word of Yahuah. The nations speak of peace, of normalized relations, of a new dawn in the ancient lands. They call it progress. We, the watchmen on the walls of Zion, see something else. We see a carefully constructed illusion, a temporary easing of tensions that masks a deeper, more dangerous game unfolding before our eyes.

The Allure of Edom

The Abraham Accords, and the subsequent attempts to broaden them, are not rooted in genuine repentance or a turning towards righteousness. They are born of self-interest, of economic gain, and of a calculated desire to isolate the true remnant of Yaacob. Consider the players. Who benefits most from a stable, yet fractured, Middle East? Look closely at those offering outstretched hands. Trace the lineages, the allegiances, the ancient enmities. You will find the shadow of Edom lurking in the corners of every negotiation.

Obadiah declares a judgment upon Edom for her pride and cruelty towards Yisrael (Obadiah 1:10-14). This is not a historical grievance, locked in the past. It is a present reality, a spirit of hostility and deceit that continues to operate within the descendants of Esau. They will not abandon their ambition to undermine Yisrael, but will seek to achieve it through more subtle means—economic pressure, political maneuvering, and the propagation of false narratives. They offer a gilded cage, a comfortable captivity, hoping to lull Yisrael into complacency while they tighten their grip.

A Harvest of Warnings

The earth groans, as it has been written (Isaiah 24:6). The signs are multiplying: earthquakes, famines, plagues, and the rising tide of wickedness. These are not random occurrences, but birth pangs—the labor pains of a world in desperate need of redemption. Yahuah is shaking the foundations of the nations, exposing their corruption, and preparing the way for the coming kingdom.

Do not be deceived by the calls for unity that exclude the acknowledgement of Yahuah’s covenant. The pursuit of peace at any cost is a dangerous path. True peace is only found through submission to the King of Kings, through repentance and a return to the Torah. Any attempt to establish lasting peace without acknowledging Yahuah’s sovereignty is built on shifting sand.

The Scroll of Remembering

The recent awakening to the household altar—to reclaiming the ancient practices of family worship—is a vital sign of restoration. Yahuah is calling His people back to a place of intimacy with Him, to a renewal of covenant relationship. This is not a retreat from the world, but a strengthening of our foundation. As families remember their heritage, as they teach their children the ways of Yahuah, they become beacons of light in a darkening world.

The Shield of Generations—the passing down of faith and tradition—is our defense against the onslaught of Babylon. Babylon seeks to assimilate, to dilute, to erase our identity. But Yahuah has promised to preserve His remnant, to protect those who cling to His covenant.

The Closing of the Cycle

We are within the closing years of the 120th Yovel cycle. Daniel’s 70th week is unfolding before us, and the time of Yaacob’s trouble is drawing near. The prince of iron and clay will rise, break the covenant, and unleash a time of unprecedented tribulation.

This is not a time for naive optimism or wishful thinking. It is a time for sober discernment, for unwavering faith, and for relentless preparation. Let us not be lulled to sleep by the false promises of peace, but let us remain vigilant, watching and praying, until the coming of Yahusha. Let us remember the words of Yahuah: “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness” (Isaiah 5:20). The shifting sands cannot hide the truth. The judgment on Edom will be complete. The restoration of Yisrael will be glorious. And Yahuah will reign forever.
