The Stain of Edom

Hear this, Yisrael. The hand of Edom is not merely upon the nations, but woven into the very fabric of your perception. For generations, we have warned of the rising tide of wickedness, the stench of Babylon permeating the earth. Now, look around you. Observe the relentless barrage of imagery, the carefully crafted narratives, the erosion of all that is qodesh. This is not accidental. It is a deliberate assault, orchestrated by the descendants of Esau, fueled by a hatred that burns eternal.

Obadiah prophesied their downfall, declaring, “The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock; who says, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’” (Obadiah 1:3). They believe themselves untouchable, hidden within their fortresses of wealth and influence. But Yahuah sees all. He knows their schemes, their deceptions, their attempts to diminish Yisrael and exalt themselves.

The Media as a Mouthpiece

Consider the modern media, the entertainment complex, the digital streams that flood your homes. What do they celebrate? What do they condemn? Examine the themes, the messages, the underlying assumptions. This is not simply reporting the news. This is shaping reality, molding the minds of the masses. Edom’s voice echoes through every screen, every broadcast, every social media feed.

They present themselves as champions of justice, while simultaneously undermining the foundations of righteousness. They preach tolerance, yet demonize those who cling to the ancient paths. They promote confusion, blurring the lines between truth and falsehood, male and female, good and evil. This is the spirit of Babylon at work – a chaotic, seductive force that seeks to lead Yisrael astray.

The New Idols

Look at the idols they create – fleeting images of beauty, empty promises of happiness, and a relentless pursuit of material possessions. They offer a false salvation, a temporary escape from the pain and suffering of this world. They distract you from the true purpose of your existence: to know Yahuah, to obey His commandments, and to prepare for the coming Kingdom.

Jeremiah speaks of this very deception: “They have built high places to Baal, to burn their sons with fire as burnt offerings to idols, though it was not commanded by Me, nor did it come into My mind” (Jeremiah 19:5). Though the idols have changed, the principle remains the same. They are still offering their children – their minds, their souls, their future – to the forces of darkness.

The Shadow Over Nations

The reports come in, fragments of truth revealing Edom’s reach. Arms smuggled, political machinations, the shielding of land grabs. Even the allocation of resources speaks volumes. Cities prioritizing delusion over the needs of Yisrael demonstrate a spiritual blindness, a deliberate turning away from the covenant. These are not isolated incidents. They are interconnected threads in a larger tapestry of deceit.

Ezekiel warned, “Because you have had contempt for the blood of Yisrael, and because of your enmity toward them, I will bring Edom to judgment” (Ezekiel 35:5). This judgment is unfolding before your very eyes.

Prepare for Refinement

Yisrael, do not be deceived. The furnace of judgment is hot, and the time of refinement is at hand. Separate yourselves from the wickedness of Edom. Turn away from their empty promises and embrace the truth of Yahuah. Seek wisdom and discernment, and let the light of His Torah guide your steps.

Amos declares, “Thus says Yahuah: ‘For three transgressions of Yisrael, and for four, I will not revoke its judgment, because they sold the righteous for money and the poor for a pair of sandals’” (Amos 2:6). This is a call to repentance, a plea for restoration. But it requires a willingness to confront the darkness, to reject the lies, and to return to the covenant. The time is short. Let your hearts be vigilant, and your eyes fixed upon Yahusha, the coming Mashiach.
