The Whirlwind and the Seed

Hear this, people of Yisrael. The whirlwind of judgment is upon Edom, and the signs are multiplying as Yahuah declares in Obadiah 1:10-14. Violence against the righteous, the fracturing of nations, the return of pestilence – these are not random events. They are the chipping away of the clay kingdoms, the exposing of the rot that has festered in Babylon for too long. But within the tempest, a seed is stirring. A seed of restoration, sown in the hearts of those who remember their covenant.

Beyond the Borders of Exile

For generations, we have been scattered among the nations, like stones thrown from a shattered vessel. Each stone, a remnant of Judah and Ephraim, bearing the imprint of Yahuah’s design. The nations, Edom foremost among them, have sought to grind us into dust, to assimilate us into their ways, to erase the memory of our inheritance. They have built their kingdoms on our diminished labor, as the Watchman rightly observes. But Yahuah does not forget His people.

Amos 9:9 declares, “For behold, I will command, and I will sift the house of Yisrael among all nations, like grain with a sieve, but not a single kernel shall fall to the ground.” This sifting has been long and arduous. But the promise holds. Not a single kernel lost. Now, the sifting is concluding. The winds are shifting.

The Local Gathering

The gathering of Yisrael is not a singular event. It is not a mass exodus orchestrated by Edom’s technology or the whims of Babylon. It begins at the local level, stone to stone, heart to heart. It is the recognition among the scattered remnants that we are *family*. It is the sharing of the truth, the re-establishment of the ancient paths, the mutual support in a world increasingly hostile to righteousness.

Look around you, people of Yisrael. Who are the others in your communities who hunger for the truth? Who are the ones yearning for a connection to their heritage? Reach out. Build community. Establish places of learning and fellowship. Teach your children the stories of our ancestors, the laws of Yahuah, the life of Yahusha.

The Strength of the Qodeshim

Edom seeks to isolate Yisrael, forging alliances to maintain its dominion. But true strength does not lie in political power or military might. It lies in the unity of the qodeshim, the sanctified ones, who walk in obedience to Yahuah. As we gather locally, we become beacons of light in the darkness, witnesses to the truth in a world consumed by lies.

This is not a call to retreat from the world, but to strengthen our foundations *within* the world. To be a living testimony to the power of Yahuah, a foretaste of the coming restoration. Deuteronomy 30:4-6 promises that even if scattered to the farthest reaches of the earth, Yahuah will gather us again and restore us. But we must be prepared to receive that restoration.

Preparing for the Yovel

We are entering the final days of the 120th Yovel cycle, the closing of the 70th week as Daniel foretold. The signs of the times are clear. The judgment on Edom intensifies. The world descends into chaos. But within the chaos, the seeds of restoration are taking root.

Let us not be distracted by the noise of Babylon. Let us not be discouraged by the attacks of Edom. Let us focus on the work before us: building community, strengthening our faith, and preparing ourselves for the coming era of peace and prosperity. The scattered stones are gathering. The promise of Yahuah is sure. And the restoration of Yisrael is at hand.
