The Unfolding of Obadiah

Yisrael, hear the word of Yahuah! The whirlwind is upon Edom, a judgment long foretold and now manifestly unfolding before your eyes. Do not mistake the shaking of nations, the crumbling of financial towers, as mere economic cycles. These are the firstfruits of the wrath revealed in Obadiah, a prophecy not of future possibility, but of present reality.

For generations, the descendants of Esau – who cast off their birthright and embraced a covenant of darkness – have amassed wealth through cunning and exploitation. They have built their fortunes on the backs of Yisrael, fueled by the trade of deception and the spoils of conflict. They have prided themselves on their impenetrable fortresses, believing their wealth would shield them from the hand of Yahuah. But Obadiah 1:3-4 declares their delusion: “Behold, I have made you small among the nations; you are greatly despised. The pride of your heart has deceived you, O you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’”
