Yisrael, heed the shofar! The dust of ages stirs, and the echoes of empires past resonate with chilling clarity in our present hour. The world speaks of a “Turkish revival,” of Erdogan’s ambition to restore the glory of the Ottoman Caliphate. But we, the covenant people, must see beyond the geopolitical calculations and recognize the hand of Yahuah at work—a hand that judges the nations and prepares the way for the restoration of Yaacob. This is not merely a story of regional power plays; it is a chapter unfolding within the scroll of prophecy, inextricably linked to the judgment of Edom and the approach of the final seven years.

The obsession with restoring past glories is a hallmark of nations under divine rebuke. Babylon, in its pride, sought to rebuild its towers and monuments, oblivious to the judgment that awaited it (Isaiah 14). Edom, too, is driven by this delusion, clinging to the vestiges of its influence while Yahuah systematically dismantles its power structures. And now, Turkey, heir to the Ottoman legacy, demonstrates the same folly, believing it can recapture a bygone era through political maneuvering and military strength.
