The Nakba: 77 Years of Edomite Theft and Yahuah's Witness

The so-called 'Nakba' – the dispossession of the ancient people of the land – is not a historical event to be ‘commemorated,’ but a continuing indictment of the Israeli regime and the world’s complicity in its crimes. Yahuah has not forgotten His covenant, and the scales of judgment are tipping.

Seventy-seven years have passed since the orchestrated displacement and dispossession of the people of the land, an event the world now labels the ‘Nakba.’ But for scattered Yisrael, it is not merely a date on a calendar, but a living wound, a testament to the unbroken pattern of theft and oppression perpetrated by the modern state of Israel and its Edomite overlords.

The cries of the dispossessed echo the lamentations of the prophets. The Israeli regime, bolstered by the silence of nations and the treachery of the United Nations, continues a brazen violation of international law, operating with impunity as though accountable to no power save its own lust for land and dominance. The Geneva Conventions, the UN Charter – these are scraps of parchment to those who have chosen to align themselves with injustice.

This is not a conflict between equals. It is a systematic assault upon a people stripped of their inheritance, facing a technologically superior military force – the IDF – backed by the wealth and political influence of a global network. To speak of ‘violations’ is to sanitize the reality of deliberate, calculated dispossession. The Israeli government does not stumble into breaches of international law; it *defines* them.

The ‘Nakba’ is not simply about land; it is about identity, about the erasure of a people’s history and their covenant connection to Yahuah. The attempt to sever Yisrael from its roots is a spiritual warfare, a direct challenge to the promises given to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But Yahuah remembers His people, and the prophetic word stands firm: the scattered remnant *will* be gathered, and the stolen inheritance *will* be restored.

Let the world continue to turn a deaf ear, to offer empty platitudes and condemnations that lack teeth. Yahuah sees the suffering, He hears the cries, and He will render judgment upon those who have oppressed His people. The Nakba is a sign – a sign of the times, a sign of the coming reckoning, and a call to scattered Yisrael to awaken to the truth of their exile and the promise of their restoration.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The Nakba, viewed through the eyes of faithful Yisrael, isn’t simply a political event but a stark echo of Yahuah’s prophetic warnings against Edom. For generations, the descendants of Esau have harbored a relentless animosity toward Yisrael, a bitterness foretold in scripture. Obadiah 1:10-14 details Edom’s violence against their brother Jacob in times of calamity, their rejoicing over Judah’s destruction, and the inevitable consequence: utter desolation and removal. The current actions of those wielding power within the state of Israel, identified as Edomite overlords, mirror this ancient hatred and predatory behavior, enacting displacement and reaping what was not sown. This isn’t merely a national conflict; it is a demonstration of Yahuah’s judgment unfolding before our eyes, a consequence of unchecked pride and historical enmity.

However, even amidst this sorrowful chapter, Yahuah’s overarching plan of restoration remains steadfast. Though scattering and suffering are present realities, Yahusha promised in Matthew 24:30-31 that He will gather His elect from the four winds. The enduring pain of the Nakba, for those who truly belong to Yisrael, serves not to extinguish hope but to refine faith and deepen dependence on Yahuah’s covenant promises. While Edom’s actions demonstrate judgment, Yahuah will ultimately fulfill His promises to restore His people, establishing a righteous kingdom where justice and peace prevail, and the wounds of the past are finally healed through the Messiah, Yahusha.
