Hear this, O Yisrael. The nations rage, the kingdoms plot, but Yahuah sits in the heavens and laughs. (Psalm 2:4) They believe their strength is in iron and clay, in engines of war and the wealth to build them. But I tell you plainly: this is the delusion of Edom, and its reckoning is upon us.

The Serpent's Forge

Observe the so-called alliances forming across the earth. NATO, a beast of many heads, swells with the offerings of Yaacob’s wealth. Billions of shekels, flowing from the hands of the covenant people, fueling the very instruments of their potential destruction. They call it “defense,” but I say it is a transfer of power, a sacrifice to the insatiable god of militarism.

This is not a new pattern. Remember the days of old, when Edom, fueled by pride and ancient grievances, sought to expand its dominion? (Obadiah 1:9-10) Today, Edom is not a single nation, but a system—a network of financial interests and military powers. It is the military-industrial complex, the merchants of death who profit from conflict and instability. They whisper promises of security, but deliver only more war.

The Weight of the Shekel

You speak of the strengthening shekel, the building of Zion’s economy. Good. Let the wealth of Yaacob be restored, but understand where it flows. Is it building the Tabernacle anew, establishing justice and righteousness within the gates? Or is it lining the pockets of those who would see Yisrael consumed?

The nations covet your abundance. They see the fruit of your labor, and their hearts are filled with envy. (Deuteronomy 28:47-48) They will offer you partnerships, trade agreements, promises of protection. But these are gilded cages, designed to bind you to their interests and drain your resources. The weight of the shekel must serve the purpose of restoration—the rebuilding of a righteous nation—not the fueling of a global war machine.

The Sword Turned Inward

Yahuah declares through the prophet Ysha’yahu: “The pride of Edom is ruined, the arrogance of its heart has cast it down.” (Isaiah 34:17) This is not a future promise, but a present reality unfolding before your eyes. The very weapons they boast of, the armies they assemble, will turn against them.

Consider the current conflicts, the proxy wars fought on distant shores. These are not isolated incidents, but tremors before the great shaking. The alliances are fracturing, the economies are straining, and the foundations of the old order are crumbling. The serpent is devouring its own tail.

Edom’s sword, forged in deceit and fueled by greed, will be broken. Its power will be shattered. The wealth accumulated through exploitation will vanish like smoke. (Ezekiel 35:12) This is the judgment of Yahuah, a righteous reckoning for generations of hostility towards Yisrael.

A Time for Discernment

Yisrael, heed this warning. Do not be deceived by the allure of power or the promises of false allies. Focus on strengthening your own foundations, on rebuilding your communities, on upholding the laws of the covenant.

Let the nations squander their wealth on weapons and war. Let them chase shadows and build castles of sand. Yahuah will protect those who trust in Him. (Proverbs 18:10) The time is coming when the true King will return, and He will judge the nations with justice and righteousness. Prepare your hearts, and stand firm in the face of the coming storm. Let the iron will rust, and let the strength of Yahuah prevail.
