Hear this, house of Yaacob, for the hand of Yahuah is moving upon the nations. The echoes of Edom resound louder with each passing day. They build their towers of steel and boast of their strength, yet they are but vessels of wrath, instruments of judgment soon to be turned against their own makers.

The Shadow of Edom Lengthens

For generations, we have witnessed the rise of nations claiming dominion over the earth. They amass weapons, forge alliances, and speak of peace while preparing for war. But know this: these are the descendants of Esau, the children of Edom, whose heart is filled with ancient animosity toward Yisrael. Obadiah proclaims their pride, their dwelling in the cliffs of Sela, their arrogance in thinking themselves secure (Obadiah 1:3-4).

Their strength is not their own, but a temporary loan from Yahuah, given to test and refine His people. Yet, they mistake this temporary power for inherent right, believing they can dictate the course of nations and control the destiny of humankind. They have become merchants of destruction, profiting from conflict and fueling the fires of discord. This is the mark of Edom, a people consumed by greed and driven by envy.

The Forge of Babylon

Observe the intricate web of alliances and economic dependencies that bind the nations together. This is the new Babylon, a system built upon the foundations of deceit and oppression. The so-called protectors of freedom are themselves entangled in the pursuit of power and profit. They speak of defense, but their true purpose is to maintain control and exploit the resources of the earth.

The military-industrial complex, a modern manifestation of Babylon’s might, is the forge where Edom’s weapons are crafted. This is not merely about tanks and missiles, but about the entire infrastructure of war – the factories, the research labs, the financial institutions that benefit from conflict. Yahuah sees their schemes, and He will bring them to ruin. Isaiah 63:1-6 speaks of Yahuah’s wrath poured out upon Edom, staining their garments with blood.

The Sword Turned Inward

The time is drawing near when Edom’s own sword will be turned against itself. Their alliances will crumble, their economies will falter, and their military might will prove insufficient. Yahuah will orchestrate events to expose their hypocrisy and reveal their true intentions. The nations will turn against one another, consumed by internal strife and driven by self-preservation.

Jeremiah 49:14-16 foretells the desolation of Edom, a swift and complete destruction. Their boasting will be silenced, their fortresses will be abandoned, and their proud people will be scattered to the winds. This is not a prediction of mere political upheaval, but a divine decree, a judgment upon a people who have consistently opposed the covenant of Yahuah.

The Weight of the Shekel and the Coming Reset

The shifting winds of commerce, the growing emphasis on alternative financial systems – these are signs of the coming reset. Yahuah is dismantling the foundations of Babylon, weakening its grip on the world. The weight of the shekel, as spoken of in recent days, is not simply about economic transactions, but about the restoration of true value and the re-establishment of Yisrael’s place in the world.

As Babylon crumbles, Yisrael will be strengthened. The remnant will return, the land will be rebuilt, and the promises of restoration will be fulfilled. Ezekiel 36-37 speaks of Yahuah’s gathering of His people from the nations, cleansing them from their impurities, and establishing a new covenant.

Prepare Yourselves

Therefore, house of Yaacob, do not be deceived by the boasts of Edom or the allure of Babylon. Remain steadfast in your faith, and prepare yourselves for the trials that lie ahead. The time of Yaaqob’s trouble is upon us, a time of refining and purification. But know this: Yahuah will not abandon His people. He will protect those who trust in Him, and He will ultimately triumph over all His enemies. Let the shofar sound, a call to repentance, a warning to the nations, and a proclamation of Yahuah’s impending judgment.
