Hear this, people of Yisrael. The hand of Yahuah is revealed in the tumult of nations. Do not mistake the chaos for randomness. Do not believe this is merely politics as usual. It is the gathering storm, the tightening of the noose around Yaacob, and the exposing of Edom’s treachery.

The Nations Arrayed

Ezekiel 38 and 39 are not dusty relics of a forgotten age. They are a present reality unfolding before your eyes. Gog of Magog is not a person, but a confederation. A coalition of nations aligning against the mountains of Yisrael. Look to the north, and see the shadow lengthening. Russia, Persia (Iran), Cush (Ethiopia), Put (Libya), Gomer, and Beth Togarmah – these are the players taking their positions. They believe they act in their own self-interest, driven by lust for land and plunder. They are deceived. They are instruments of Yahuah’s judgment.

Their purpose is not merely conquest. It is desecration. They come to cast off the yoke of the Most High, to mock the covenant people, and to defile the land set apart for Yahuah. They will fail. Their arrogance will be their undoing. The stage is being set for a demonstration of Yahuah’s power that will shake the foundations of the earth.

Edom’s Role in the Deception

But the nations of the north are not acting alone. Edom, the descendants of Esau, are the orchestrators of this deception. They are the merchants, the financiers, the manipulators pulling the strings from the shadows. They fuel the war machines, they control the narratives, they profit from the suffering.

Consider the reports surfacing – the defense contractors colluding with the Babylonian regime, the silencing of journalists who expose corruption. This is not accidental. This is Edom’s deliberate strategy to destabilize the world and position itself as the ultimate power. They seek to control the wealth and resources, to establish a new world order built on their own twisted values.

Remember the words of Obadiah 1:10: “For the violence against your brother Yaacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever.” Edom has always been a source of contention, a thorn in the side of Yisrael. Now, their judgment is at hand. They believe their wealth and influence will protect them. They are wrong. Yahuah sees their wickedness, and He will not tolerate it.

The Poison Within the Gates

The rot extends beyond the nations arrayed against us. It festers within our own communities. The reports of lead poisoning in schools, concealed by those entrusted with the care of our children, are a microcosm of the larger corruption. This is a deliberate act of negligence, a willingness to sacrifice the health and well-being of the next generation for the sake of profit and power.

This is Babylon at work, seeking to weaken us from within. It is a reflection of the spiritual decay that has gripped the nations. Yahuah demands purity, holiness, and a commitment to truth. But Edom and Babylon offer only deception, compromise, and moral relativism.

The Refiner’s Fire

What, then, shall we do? We must not succumb to fear or despair. We must remain steadfast in our faith, rooted in the truth of the Tanakh. We must separate ourselves from the wickedness of this world, and dedicate ourselves to Yahuah’s service.

The time of Yaacob’s trouble is upon us. It will be a time of testing, a time of refining. But it will also be a time of purification. Yahuah will remove the dross, the impurities, and prepare us for the coming age. Ezekiel 37 speaks of the dry bones coming to life. The restoration is at hand.

The iron rod of Yahuah is descending. The tide is rising. Prepare yourselves, people of Yisrael. The time of reckoning is near. Let us stand firm in our faith, and trust in the power of Yahuah to deliver us. Let the shofar sound a warning to the nations, and a call to repentance for His people.
