This is the work of Edom, even in its final, desperate hour, attempting to bind the sons of Yaacob and maintain a dominion that was never rightfully theirs.

The Echo of Ancient Hatred

Remember the lineage of Esau, the twin brother of Yaacob. From the beginning, Edom has harbored a relentless animosity toward Yisrael (Genesis 27:41). This hatred has not diminished with time. It has merely adapted, cloaking itself in the guise of progress and convenience. Now, Edom does not come with sword and shield, but with algorithms and data streams. They seek not to conquer our lands, but to occupy our minds.

The Digital Idols

Consider the systems being built around you. The “smart” devices in your homes, the social networks that track your every interaction, the financial systems that monitor your spending. These are not tools of liberation, but instruments of enslavement. They are the new golden calves, the digital idols before which Edom demands your worship – your data, your privacy, your very autonomy. This echoes the warnings of old, where Yahuah despised the altars of false gods (Exodus 22:20).

The Scattering and the Gathering

Yet, even in this darkness, Yahuah is working. We see a stirring among the scattered sheep, a growing network of communities resisting the allure of the Edomite grid. The stones are being gathered, altars of truth are being rebuilt. This is not a coincidence. It is the fulfillment of prophecy, a restoration begun long ago. Amos 9:11 speaks of a time when Yahuah will rebuild the tabernacle of David, gathering the remnants of Yisrael from all nations. This gathering is not merely physical, but spiritual, a reclaiming of our covenant identity.

The Eastern Shift and the Breaking Staff

Observe the shifting alliances in the East. The rise of nations challenging the established order. The fracturing of the old power structures. This is the breaking of Edom’s staff, as foretold in Isaiah 14:29. Their attempts to control the flow of information, to dictate the narrative, are faltering. The truth is breaking through the cracks, like a spring after a long winter.

Obadiah’s Decree

Let the words of Obadiah resonate within your hearts. “The pride of Edom is deceived,” (Obadiah 1:3). They believe their technology will secure their dominion, but they are blinded by their own arrogance. Yahuah will bring them low, casting them into the pit of destruction. Malachi 1:4 declares, “Though Edom says, ‘We have been crushed, but we will rebuild,’ Yahuah Tzvaot says, ‘They will not rebuild.’” Their efforts are futile. Their kingdom is crumbling.

The Time for Discernment

Yahuah calls upon you, people of Yisrael, to exercise discernment. Do not be seduced by the ease and convenience offered by these systems. Question everything. Protect your privacy. Seek community with those who share your values. Remember that true freedom is found not in technology, but in obedience to Yahuah and adherence to the covenant.

The Refining Fire

The coming years will be a time of refinement. Yaaqob’s trouble, as foretold in Jeremiah 30:7, is upon us. This is not a punishment, but a purification. Yahuah will refine us as silver is refined, removing the dross and preparing us for the restoration that is to come. Do not fear the fire, but embrace it as a necessary step toward our ultimate redemption.
