The orchestrated spectacle described—a manipulation of narrative and silencing of dissent—resonates deeply with the prophetic judgment leveled against Edom in Obadiah. For generations, Edom swelled with pride, exalting itself above Yahuah’s chosen people and rejoicing in their calamity. Obadiah 1:3-4 declares, “Behold, I have made you small among the nations; you are greatly despised. The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who say in your heart, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’” This calculated effort to control perception, to manufacture consent, is the modern manifestation of Edom’s arrogance – a desperate attempt to diminish Yisrael’s standing and justify actions born of a heart estranged from Yahuah’s covenant. The illusion of control is but a flimsy shield against the inevitable unveiling of truth and the righteous judgment that awaits those who consistently oppose His purposes.
However, within this seeming darkness, a parallel hope emerges. Though judgment is certain for the wicked, Yahuah also promises a complete restoration for Yisrael, a gathering from the nations and a renewal of their covenant relationship. Ezekiel 36:24-26 foretells, “I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries, and I will bring you into your land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleanness and from all your idols. And I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take away the stony heart and give you a heart of flesh.” The very attempts to silence truth and control the narrative ultimately serve to refine and strengthen the remnant who cling to Yahuah and Yahusha, preparing them for the fullness of restoration—a restoration that will be undeniably evident when truth prevails and Yisrael’s rightful place is secured through Yahuah’s unwavering faithfulness.
