Yahuah is revealing the ancient enmity, the unbroken line of hostility that stretches from Mount Seir to this very hour. We see it not in armies massing on borders, but in the whispers that fill the airwaves, the images that flood the screens, the narratives crafted to deceive.

The Serpent’s Tongue

The reports speak of Lebanon’s entreaties, of a failing proxy war in the lands of the north, of institutions bending to false narratives. These are not isolated incidents. These are the tendrils of Edom, extending its reach, poisoning the wells of truth. Remember the words of Obadiah: “The pride of Edom is deceived” (Obadiah 1:3). Edom believes itself cunning, secure. It believes its narratives will stand. But Yahuah sees through the deception.

The media, the entertainment complex—these are the modern instruments of Moab. They are the voices that twist perception, the hands that shape opinion, the eyes that present a distorted reflection of reality. Just as Moab hired Balaam to curse Yisrael (Numbers 22), so too does Edom employ its scribes and storytellers to malign the covenant people and diminish their standing in the eyes of the nations.

The Smithsonian and the Forgetting of Yahuah

Consider the report of the Smithsonian, bowing to weakness, forgetting the righteous judgment of Yahuah. This is not mere historical revisionism; it is a spiritual blindness. They erase the covenant, rewrite the past to suit a present agenda, and proclaim this as progress. But Yahuah remembers. He remembers every broken promise, every act of injustice, every attempt to silence His truth.

The fires at Federal Plaza, the unrest in the streets – these are not random occurrences. These are echoes of Yahuah’s displeasure, warnings sent to a people who have turned from His ways. Jeremiah declared, “Thus says Yahuah: For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn back My judgment” (Jeremiah 49:7). Edom’s transgressions are many. They are relentless. And Yahuah’s judgment is certain.

Babylon’s Refrain

The spirit of Babylon is alive and well, woven into the fabric of this age. It promises knowledge, but delivers delusion. It offers pleasure, but breeds emptiness. It proclaims peace, but instigates conflict. It is a seductive song, designed to lull Yisrael into complacency.

The news speaks of shifting alliances, of failing strategies. But understand this: these are merely symptoms of a deeper disease. The true battle is not for territory, but for the hearts and minds of Yisrael. Edom seeks to erode our identity, to dismantle our faith, to sever our connection to Yahuah.

The Call to Discernment

What then shall we do? We must sharpen our discernment. We must test every voice, every image, every narrative against the standard of the Tanakh. We must reject the lies of Edom and embrace the truth of Yahuah. We must remember that we are not defined by the opinions of the nations, but by the covenant Yahuah made with our fathers.

The time is short. The 70th week presses onward. The midpoint approaches. Prepare yourselves, Yisrael. For the battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities and powers that rule this darkness. Stand firm in your faith. Stand firm in your covenant. And trust in Yahuah, for He is our shield and our deliverer. As Isaiah proclaims, “The burden of Edom” is being fulfilled (Isaiah 34). The echoes of Moab are growing louder. Hear them, and be warned.
