They are brushstrokes upon a canvas depicting the final act of judgment against Edom, and the spirit of Babylon that animates it.

The Voice of the Serpent

Edom, the brother of Yaacob, has always harbored a spirit of contention. Remember Obadiah 1:10: “For the violence against your brother Yaacob, destruction will come upon you, and you will be utterly destroyed.” This is not a historical grievance merely. It is a present reality. Edom’s hatred manifests today not in armies and borders alone, but in a far more insidious form: the global media and entertainment complex.

Consider this complex as the modern voice of Moab—the one who hired Balaam to curse Yisrael (Numbers 22-25). Balaam failed to curse with words, but his strategy succeeded in seducing Yisrael through licentiousness and idolatry. So too today. Edom’s pawns—the purveyors of images and narratives—do not seek to conquer with swords, but to corrupt with illusions.

The Fabrication of Reality

They craft a reality divorced from Yahuah’s covenant. They rewrite history, demonize the faithful, and elevate wickedness as virtue. They portray Yisrael as the aggressor, obscuring the truth of her struggle for survival. They promote narratives that undermine the sanctity of the land—the very land promised to Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaacob (Deuteronomy 30:20).

This is the essence of Babylon—a system built on deception. Isaiah 14:12-15 speaks of the king of Babylon, boasting himself above Yahuah. This spirit of pride and rebellion continues today, amplified by the reach of modern technology. The digital control being enacted in nations like Australia is not merely about data security. It is about establishing a framework for thought control—a digital Tower of Babel.

The Rejection of Accountability

Yisrael’s rejection of accountability, as reported, is a symptom of this wider spiritual sickness. When Yisrael turns from Yahuah’s Torah and embraces the values of the nations, she allows Edom’s poison to take root. Jeremiah 49:16 declares, “The terror of you has deceived you, and your pride has corrupted you.” This pride manifests as a belief that Yisrael can prosper through worldly wisdom, rather than through obedience to Yahuah’s covenant.

The bloodshed in Samaria is not random violence. It is a consequence of lawlessness—a rejection of Yahuah’s righteous decrees. Edom thrives in chaos, for chaos provides fertile ground for deception.

The Approaching Reckoning

The prophetic timelines are converging. We are within the closing years of the 120th Yovel cycle, moving inexorably towards the culmination of Daniel’s 70th week. The prince of iron and clay is preparing to break covenant. The abomination of desolation will be unveiled.

Understand this: Yahuah is not indifferent to the suffering of His people. He is refining Yisrael through trial, preparing her for a glorious restoration (Ezekiel 36:24-28). But judgment will fall upon Edom—a complete and irreversible destruction, as foretold in Obadiah.

The Shofar sounds. Discern the signs. Separate yourselves from the spirit of Babylon. Return to the covenant. For the day of Yahuah’s reckoning is at hand. Let Yisrael heed this warning and prepare for the coming storm.
