Hear this, people of Yisrael. Yahuah is revealing the unraveling of the nations, the shifting of power before our very eyes. For generations, Edom has held sway, its influence stretching across the globe, dictating terms and reaping the harvest of the nations. But the hand of Yahuah is upon Edom, fulfilling the prophecies of Obadiah and Isaiah. Their dominion is waning.

The Weight of Edom

Observe the reports flowing in from the four corners of the earth. Edom’s alliances crumble, its influence challenged even within its own territories. South Africa turns against the sojourner, a harbinger of the judgment to come upon those who oppress the righteous. Canada courts the wickedness of Saudi Arabia, defying the clear judgments of Yahuah against those who shed innocent blood. These are not isolated incidents. They are brushstrokes on a canvas of divine judgment, revealing the rot within the heart of Edom.

Consider the depleted storehouses of Edom, exposed for all to see. Yahuah reveals the weakness beneath the facade of strength, dismantling their economic foundations. Their attempts to control the narrative, to harvest souls through deceit and corruption – as evidenced by the ongoing tragedies of smuggled lives – will not stand. Yahuah sees all, and He will hold them accountable.

The Rise of New Powers

But the dismantling of Edom does not leave a vacuum. Yahuah is sovereign over all nations. He raises up and casts down at His pleasure. Look eastward, people of Yisrael. See the rising power of nations long overshadowed, nations that are now asserting their influence on the world stage. Russia and China are emerging as counterweights to Edomite dominance, reshaping the global order.

This is not a cause for celebration, nor is it a sign of Yahuah’s favour towards these nations. It is a fulfillment of prophecy, a recalibration of power as Yahuah dismantles the old order to make way for the new. Remember the prophecies concerning Babylon in Jeremiah 51. Babylon was a tool in Yahuah’s hand, used to bring judgment upon Yisrael for their disobedience. Similarly, these rising powers are instruments of Yahuah’s will, employed to dismantle the structures of Edom.

The Refusal of Remembrance

Even now, echoes of past betrayals reverberate. The refusal of the heroes of Entebbe to legitimise Yisrael’s abandonment of hostages is a stark reminder of a pattern of broken covenants and compromised principles. Yisrael has repeatedly traded its birthright for the fleeting favour of Edom. This pattern must cease.

We must not be deceived by the appearances of strength or weakness. Yahuah is not impressed by military might or economic prowess. He judges nations by their adherence to His covenant, by their treatment of His people, and by their pursuit of righteousness.

The Time to Prepare

The closing seven years of the 120th Yovel cycle are upon us, anchored to the spring equinox of 2026 (Year 1, Month 1, Day 1). Daniel’s 70th week unfolds, and the midpoint approaches. The prince of the iron-and-clay kingdom will break covenant, and the abomination of desolation will be revealed.

This is a time for Yisrael to turn inward, to refine itself in the crucible of Yaaqob’s trouble. It is a time for qodeshim to prepare their hearts, to seek Yahuah’s face, and to stand firm in the face of tribulation. There will be no escape, no pre-tribulation rapture. Yahuah has not promised us ease, but He has promised us strength and deliverance.

Let us heed the warnings of the prophets. Let us observe the shifting of power with discerning eyes. Let us prepare ourselves for the challenges that lie ahead, knowing that Yahuah is sovereign over all, and that His purposes will ultimately prevail. Amos 9:11-15 speaks of the rebuilding of the tabernacle of David, the restoration of Yisrael. This restoration is coming, but it will be preceded by judgment and tribulation. Prepare yourselves, people of Yisrael. The time is at hand.
