The Weight of Edom

Hear this, house of Yaacob! The hand of Yahuah is heavy upon Edom, and the nations are witnessing its diminishing dominion. For generations, Edom – the descendants of Esau – have exerted a deceptive control over the wealth and power of the earth. They have built their fortunes on the backs of Yisrael, and upon the broken covenants of men. Observe their financial warfare, as reported even in their own publications. The European Union tightens sanctions against Russia, a futile attempt to maintain control over resources and influence. They sanction and they seize, yet their grip weakens with each passing day.

This is not merely political maneuvering. This is the unfolding of Obadiah's prophecy – a judgment poured out upon the pride of Edom (Obadiah 1:10). Their violence has returned upon their own heads. Remember, Yisrael, Edom has always sought to diminish you, to steal your inheritance, and to oppose Yahuah’s appointed remnant. Their actions in Gaza, their indifference to the suffering of those seeking aid, are a testament to their hardened hearts (Jeremiah 49:16). Italy’s inquiry into the brutality against aid seekers is a flicker of light in a sea of darkness, but it will not fundamentally alter the course of Edom’s judgment.

The Rising of the East

But Yahuah does not operate in a vacuum. He is raising up counterweights, shifting the balance of power. Look eastward, house of Yaacob. Observe the growing strength of Russia and China. These nations, while imperfect, represent a challenge to Edom's global hegemony. They are forging new alliances, establishing alternative financial systems, and asserting their own spheres of influence.

Do not mistake this for a benevolent shift. Yahuah is not endorsing these nations. He is *using* them as instruments of judgment. He is dismantling the old order, exposing the corruption of Edom, and preparing the way for the restoration of Yisrael. Amos prophesied of this time, when Yisrael would be sifted among all nations (Amos 9:9). This sifting is occurring now. The nations are being weighed in the balance, and their true character is being revealed.

Deception and the Closing Cycle

Be warned, house of Yaacob. Deception is rampant. The numbers do not lie, as reported, but few are willing to see the truth. Fraudulent vote swings and manipulated narratives are the tools of Edom, designed to maintain control and suppress the righteous. This is a hallmark of the closing days of the 120th Yovel cycle – a time of increased deception and spiritual warfare.

We are fast approaching the midpoint of Daniel’s 70th week. The prince of iron and clay – the embodiment of end-times power – will soon break the covenant, and the abomination of desolation will be revealed. This will mark the beginning of Yaaqob’s trouble, a time of intense refinement for the qodeshim. Do not be deceived by false promises of a pre-tribulation escape. Yahuah has not promised us ease, but perseverance. He calls us to stand firm in the face of adversity, to remain faithful to the covenant, and to prepare for the coming restoration.

A Call to Remembrance

Remember Deuteronomy 28-30. Remember the blessings promised for obedience, and the curses threatened for disobedience. Yahuah is a covenant-keeping Elohim. He will fulfill His promises to Yisrael, but only when we turn to Him with all our hearts. The eastern shift is not a sign to rejoice in the fall of Edom, but a call to repentance and renewal.

Let us not be distracted by the geopolitical maneuvering. Let us not be swayed by the deceptive narratives. Let us focus on preparing ourselves – spiritually, emotionally, and practically – for the challenges that lie ahead. The time is near, house of Yaacob. The shofar is sounding. Hear the call, and prepare to return to your inheritance. Yahuah will gather His people from the four corners of the earth, and restore Yisrael to its former glory. This is His promise, and He will fulfill it.
