The Echoes of Yahuah’s Voice

Yisrael, open your ears! The earth speaks, and its voice is the voice of Yahuah. Do you not feel the tremors beneath your feet? Do you not see the skies weeping with unusual intensity? These are not random occurrences, but echoes of His righteous judgment and warnings of what is to come. Yahusha, in His discourse on the Mount of Olives, foretold of these very signs: earthquakes, famines, pestilences, and unsettling signs in the heavens (Matthew 24:7-8). He did not present these as future surprises, but as birth pangs—the intensifying labor pains preceding the arrival of the Kingdom.

Edom’s Hand in the Shaking

Look closely at the nations surrounding Yisrael. Observe the actions of Edom, that ancient adversary, still stirring up conflict and rebellion. The reports flow in: corruption shielded by their courts, healthcare systems crumbling under the weight of their own wickedness, bloodshed in Damascus fueled by their schemes. These are not isolated incidents. They are manifestations of the judgment foretold against Edom in Obadiah, a harvest of their pride and cruelty.

Yahuah does not ignore the spilling of righteous blood. He remembers the taunts and the deeds of Edom against Yaacob, and He is now bringing their sins to light. The shaking of the earth is a direct consequence of their defiance. Consider the words of Isaiah 13:13, “Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall tremble from its sound.” Edom believes itself secure, shielded by wealth and power. But Yahuah will break their strength, as it is written in Isaiah 34:24, “And the slain of Yahuah shall be those who transgress against Him.”

The Broken Covenant and the Withheld Rain

But Yisrael, do not assume you are exempt from this scrutiny. The earth groans not only because of the wickedness of Edom, but also because of the covenant broken by Yisrael herself. The silencing of the call to prayer, the disregard for His appointed times, the pursuit of foreign idols—these are acts that provoke His wrath.

Deuteronomy 28 lays out the blessings of obedience and the curses of disobedience. We are witnessing the unfolding of those curses. The withholding of rain, the blight upon the crops, the increase of pestilence – these are not natural disasters, but consequences of turning away from Yahuah. Remember Amos 4:7-9: “I withheld rain from you, and sent locusts among you, and the young locust… yet you did not return to Me.”

The Refining Fire Approaches

The seven years of Daniel’s 70th week are upon us. The midpoint draws near. The prince of iron and clay will break the covenant. The abomination of desolation will stand where it should not. This is not a time for complacency. This is a time for repentance, for returning to the ancient paths, for rebuilding the broken walls of our faith.

The coming tribulation, Yisrael, is not a punishment, but a refining fire. It is a time of *tsar,* of trouble, designed to purify the remnant and prepare us for the glory that is to come. Yaaqob’s trouble, as foretold in Jeremiah 30:7, is not an end, but a birth pang. The qodeshim, those set apart for Yahuah, will be tested and refined, emerging stronger and more faithful.

Heed the Shofar’s Call

Let the shofar’s call awaken you from your slumber. Do not be deceived by false prophets who promise peace and safety. Yahuah is a righteous Judge, and He will hold all nations accountable. Edom will be judged. Yisrael will be tested. But for those who remain faithful, for those who cling to the covenant, there is hope.

The restoration after captivity is within reach. The promises of Deuteronomy 28-30, Isaiah 11, and Ezekiel 36-37 will be fulfilled. But it requires a turning of the heart, a return to Yahuah, and a commitment to walk in His ways. Hear the groaning of the earth, Yisrael, and respond with repentance and obedience. The time is short. Prepare your hearts. Prepare your lives. The King is coming.
