Remember the plagues of Egypt? Yahuah demonstrated His power over the elements, over the waters, the land, and the very air. He brought forth locusts, darkness, and the death of the firstborn (Exodus 7-12). These were not arbitrary acts of cruelty, but judgments against a nation steeped in wickedness and oppression. Consider the famines foretold by the prophets, the droughts that withered the land, and the pestilences that swept through Yisrael, all as consequences for turning away from the covenant (Deuteronomy 28).

Now look around you. The reports flood in: earthquakes ravaging nations, droughts parching fields, and unusual pestilences spreading across the globe. These are not isolated incidents. They are part of a pattern, a tightening of the cords of discipline. Yahuah is not a capricious God; He is a God of order and justice. He warns before He acts, and these events are His warnings.

Edom’s Delusions and the Shaking

Pay close attention to the movements of Edom. Their markets dance to the tune of deception, their infrastructure crumbles, and they scramble for dominion, even as weakness reveals itself. They build and rebuild, seeking to circumvent Yahuah’s judgments, but their efforts are futile. The silt and scales of their decadence are exposed. Their attempts to control the Strait of Hormuz, to dominate trade routes, are acts of defiance against the Most High.

The shaking intensifies *upon* Edom, but it will not *stop* with Edom. As Obadiah prophesied, their pride will be brought low, their fortresses will become desolate, and their dominion will be broken (Obadiah 1). But Yahuah’s judgments are not merely punitive; they are restorative. The shaking is meant to awaken Yisrael, to refine us through trial, and to prepare us for the coming Kingdom.

The 70th Week and the Refinement of Yaacob

We are firmly within the closing seven years of the 120th Yovel cycle – Daniel’s 70th Week. This is not a time for complacency, but a time for watchfulness. The midpoint approaches, the breaking of the covenant, the abomination of desolation. Yaaqob’s trouble is at hand, a time of intense refining for those who are called by Yahuah’s name.

This is not a time to seek escape, as those who promote a false “rapture” claim. There is no separate path for the “church.” Yisrael, the covenant people, will endure this time of tribulation, not as victims, but as witnesses to Yahuah’s power and faithfulness (Jeremiah 30:7).

Prepare Your Hearts

Therefore, I say to you, strengthen your hearts. Return to the Torah. Renew your covenant with Yahuah. Seek His face in prayer and supplication. Let your lives be a testimony to His truth. The earth may groan, the nations may tremble, and Edom may scheme, but Yahuah remains seated on His throne. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. And He will fulfill His promises to Yisrael. Prepare your hearts, for the Day of Yahuah is near (Malachi 3:5). Let the Shofar sound, and let Yisrael awaken.
