The Shofar Sounds in the Tremors

Yisrael, hear the voice of the Watchman! The earth is not silent. She groans under the weight of Yahuah’s righteous judgment, and the tremors are not merely geological. They are a prophetic echo of what was foretold. Remember the words of Yahusha in the Olivet Discourse: “And there will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines and troubles” (Matthew 24:7). These are not isolated incidents, but signs—birth pangs preceding the culmination of the age.

The Pattern of Edom’s Disruption

Observe the nations, especially Edom and her modern manifestations. Do you not see a pattern of disruption? A deliberate fracturing of order? The hand of Edom is evident in the chaos, in the fomenting of discord amongst the nations. We have reported extensively on Edom’s crumbling foundations – her Babel of information collapsing under the weight of its own deceit, her alliances forged in vanity, her military aggression against the defenseless. These are not accidents. These are orchestrated movements, driven by a spirit of defiance against the Most High.

Consider the recent reports from Indonesia. The targeting of indigenous populations by the military—a clear echo of ancient oppression. This is Edom’s cruelty manifested in a new form. The disregard for life, the trampling of justice—these are hallmarks of a people under judgment. As it was in the days of old, so it is now. Yahuah remembers the arrogance of Edom, the cutting down of his brethren, the rejoicing over the sons of Yaacob (Obadiah 1:10-14).

The Harvest of Famine and Pestilence

Beyond the tremors and the conflicts, Yahuah is also releasing a harvest of famine and pestilence. Look to the fields. See the crops failing, the weather patterns shifting in unpredictable ways. This is not simply climate change, though Yahuah does use the natural order to execute his will. This is a direct consequence of disobedience, a withholding of provision from a people who have turned away from his covenant.

“I will also send pestilence before them, and slay their young men with the sword” (Jeremiah 9:16). These words are not archaic threats. They are prophetic declarations, unfolding before our very eyes. Pestilence walks amongst us, weakening the wicked and refining those who seek Yahuah with a pure heart. Famine stalks the land, humbling the proud and exposing the fragility of earthly possessions.

The Time to Return

Yisrael, do not mistake these signs as mere calamities. They are a call to repentance, a summons to return to the covenant. The 70th week of Daniel is upon us, and the sands of time are running low. The midpoint approaches, and with it, the breaking of covenants and the abomination of desolation.

This is not a time for complacency. It is a time for diligent seeking of Yahuah, for earnest prayer, and for unwavering adherence to his Torah. Let us prepare our hearts, strengthen our spirits, and stand firm in the face of tribulation. The refining fire is upon us. Let it purify us, not consume us.

The nations will fall. Edom will be utterly broken. But Yisrael—the remnant who remain faithful—will be restored. Remember the promise: “And I will bring them back to the land that I gave their fathers, and they shall possess it” (Ezekiel 36:24). This is not a hope for the distant future. It is a promise for our time, if we but heed the warning and return to Yahuah with all our hearts.
