THE EARTH GROANETH, YISRAEL SLEEPETH

Hear the word of Yahuah, people of the covenant. Open your ears and understand the signs of the times. Yahusha spoke plainly in the Olivet Discourse, foretelling a season of upheaval—wars, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in places throughout the earth (Matthew 24:6-8). These are not random occurrences. They are birth pangs, the groaning of creation anticipating the culmination of the ages.

The Shaking of Foundations

Look around you. The earth is not stable. Recent reports speak of increased seismic activity across the globe. From the depths of the ocean to the heart of continents, the foundations are shaken. Yahuah declares in Amos 8:8, “And the whole land shall mourn, and every one howl with lamentation.” This is not merely geological phenomena; it is a physical manifestation of the spiritual shaking occurring within Yisrael and the nations. Remember the word in Jeremiah 4:24, “And I beheld, and, lo, the earth was without form, and void; and the heavens had no light.” This foreshadows a time of disorder and judgment.

The Hunger in the Land

The reports of drought and famine are increasing. Lands once fertile yield no harvest. The breadbasket of nations is becoming barren. Yahuah warns through the prophet Ezekiel, “And I will send a famine in the land, and a consuming plague among my people” (Ezekiel 39:9). This is not simply a lack of resources. It is a consequence of turning away from Yahuah’s covenant and embracing wickedness. The abundance of Babylon, built upon injustice and oppression, will not sustain Yisrael. True sustenance comes from obedience to Yahuah’s commands (Deuteronomy 28:1-14).

The Pestilence Among Us

A cloud of sickness hangs over the earth. New diseases emerge, and old ones return with renewed virulence. Yahuah declares in Exodus 23:25, “And he shall destroy those who worship other gods.” Pestilence is a tool of judgment, a consequence of idolatry and disobedience. Yet, even in the midst of suffering, there is a purpose. It is a refining fire, a call to repentance and a return to the ways of Yahuah. Remember the plague upon Pharaoh’s house—a demonstration of Yahuah’s power and a warning to all who defy Him (Exodus 9).

Edom’s Hand in the Chaos

Observe closely who profits from this turmoil. Who seeks to control the narrative and manipulate the resources? Look to Edom. Their hand is evident in the chaos. They prey upon the scattered remnant, stealing their inheritance and sowing discord. The smoke of their wickedness rises before Yahuah, a testament to their rebellion (Isaiah 34:5-7). The current interference in elections, the manipulation of information, and the exploitation of suffering—these are all hallmarks of Edom’s schemes.

Hear the Warning

Yahuah is speaking, but will Yisrael listen? Will they recognize the signs and turn from their wicked ways? The time for complacency is over. The 70th week draws near, and the clock is ticking. Prepare your hearts and minds. Return to the covenant. Seek Yahuah while He may be found. For the day of reckoning is at hand. The earth groans, but Yahuah will ultimately restore Yisrael and establish His kingdom. Let those with ears to hear, hear. And let those with eyes to see, see. Selah.
