Hearken, O Yisrael, for the signs are multiplying, a chorus of lament rising from the dust. Yahusha, speaking to his disciples on the Mount of Olives, foretold these very days. He spoke of wars, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in places throughout the earth (Matthew 24:6-8). These are not random occurrences, but birth pangs – the *chevel* of a world in travail, nearing the culmination of the age.

The Shaking Foundations

The earth is not static, nor is its judgment. Consider the words of Haggai 2:6: “Once more, in a little while, I will shake heaven and earth, and the sea, and the dry land.” We witness this shaking now. Not merely geological upheaval, but a fracturing of the established order. Earthquakes, increasingly frequent and severe, are a physical manifestation of the spiritual instability gripping the nations. These tremors are Yahuah’s voice, a rumble of warning before the great and terrible day.

Look to the headlines. They speak of a federal court targeting an elder judge – a collapse of legal foundations. This is not merely a legal dispute, but a symptom of a deeper rot. The righteous are undermined, and the wicked prosper. This echoes Amos 6:12: “My oxen stumble in the fields, and the flocks perish.” When justice fails, the very ground beneath our feet becomes unstable.

The Serpent’s Brood and the Uprooted Seed

The reports concerning the resurgence of extremist groups – the so-called “Patriot Front” – reveal the face of modern Babylon. Edom, ancient and relentless in its opposition to Yisrael, continues to manifest in new forms. They are the serpent, brooding over the fallen world, seeking to poison the well of truth.

And what of the attempts to dismantle justice in places like Kansas? This is Edom’s war against the seed, a deliberate effort to uproot the righteous and silence the voice of truth. Deuteronomy 25:9 warns against the smiting of the heel, a symbolic attack on the lineage and authority of Yisrael. They seek to break the covenant, to sever the connection between Yahuah and His people.

Famine and Pestilence – The Refining Fire

Beyond the shaking earth and the rising tide of wickedness, we see the signs of scarcity. Famines are predicted, and pestilences unleashed. These are not acts of random misfortune, but instruments of judgment. Yahuah declares in Jeremiah 14:12: “When they fast, I will not hear; and when they offer sacrifices, I will not accept them.” Empty rituals cannot appease a righteous judge. True repentance, a turning of the heart back to Yahuah, is the only remedy.

The targeting of the press, the suppression of truth, is another sign. Deception flourishes when information is controlled. Yahuah’s people must be discerning, seeking truth with unwavering resolve. Proverbs 23:23 states, “Buy the truth, and do not sell it; get wisdom, and get understanding.”

The 70th Week Accelerates

These are not isolated incidents, but interconnected threads woven into the fabric of the 70th week of Daniel’s prophecy. The clock is ticking. The midpoint draws near, and the prince of iron and clay prepares to break the covenant. Yaaqob’s trouble is at hand, a time of refining for the qodeshim, a time of purging for Yisrael.

Do not be deceived by false promises of a pre-tribulation escape, or a separate path for those who claim to follow Yahusha. The scriptures are clear: tribulation is the lot of the faithful, a crucible in which our faith will be tested and refined.

Prepare yourselves, O Yisrael. Strengthen your hearts, and stand firm in the face of adversity. The earth groans, but Yahuah remains sovereign. He will restore His people, and establish His kingdom. But the path to restoration is paved with judgment. Heed the warnings, and let your hearts be turned toward Him. Selah.
