The Blindness of Israel: Mockery Amidst Yahuah’s Warnings

The nations reel under a cascade of calamities – war in the East, famine in Africa, pestilence spreading across continents, and the earth itself convulsing with unprecedented storms and earthquakes. Yet, a stubborn blindness grips many, particularly those who have forsaken the covenant and embraced the lies of the modern world. They scoff at the notion that these events are anything more than cyclical occurrences, dismissing the clear signs Yahuah sends to a rebellious people.
This is not mere coincidence; it is the unfolding of Deuteronomy 28. Yahuah promised both blessing for obedience and curse for transgression. For generations, the covenant people of Yisrael – scattered among the nations – have turned away from His law, embracing the idolatry of wealth, power, and self-deception. The modern state of Israel, a counterfeit built on stolen land and fueled by the pride of Edom, stands as a further affront to His holy name.
The so-called ‘skeptics’ – those who demand empirical proof for spiritual realities – are not seekers of truth, but servants of delusion. They are the comfortable who benefit from the chaos, the merchants of death who profit from war and disease. They are the watchmen who give no warning, preferring to lull the flock into a false sense of security.
These plagues are not random acts of nature; they are judgments upon a wicked generation. Yahuah is shaking the foundations of the world to awaken His people and call them back to repentance. The famine is a rebuke of our gluttony, the pestilence a consequence of our uncleanness, and the wars a reflection of our violence.
Scattered Yisrael must see through the veil of deception and recognize these events for what they are: a desperate plea from Yahuah to return to the covenant. The time for complacency is over. The shofar is sounding, and the remnant must prepare themselves for a time of tribulation and purification. Let those with ears to hear, hear the warning, and let those with eyes to see, recognize the hand of Yahuah in all that is unfolding. The modern state of Israel will not save you; only repentance and obedience to the Most High can deliver Yisrael from the coming storm.
This present darkness, this global unraveling, echoes the ancient judgment leveled against Edom as prophesied by Yahuah. For generations, Edom nursed a perpetual animosity towards Yisrael, rejoicing in their downfall and actively participating in their destruction – a prideful spirit mirroring the modern world’s scorn for those who cling to the covenant. Obadiah 1:10-11 vividly portrays this reckoning: “For the violence against your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be utterly destroyed. In the day that you stood on the other side, in the day that strangers carried away his substance, and foreigners entered his gates, and cast lots over Yerushalayim, you were also as one of them.” The current calamities are not random; they are Yahuah’s hand moving against those who have similarly delighted in the suffering of His chosen, who have traded truth for fleeting comfort and embraced a worldview hostile to His eternal purposes.
However, within this judgment, a path for restoration is being forged for faithful Yisrael. While Edom’s fate serves as a stark warning, Yahuah’s promises to His people remain steadfast. Just as a refiner’s fire purges impurities, so too will these trials refine and restore those who turn to Him with a broken spirit and a contrite heart. Isaiah 49:6 speaks to this very purpose: “I will also give you as light to the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.” Through Yahusha, the Messiah, Yahuah is not merely enacting judgment, but preparing a remnant, a purified Yisrael, to be a beacon of truth and a vessel of His salvation to a world desperately in need of redemption, and this is the definitive purpose of these times.
