Reports confirm Javier Milei, President of Argentina, participated in the 78th Independence Day celebrations of the nation calling itself Israel, singing and lighting a ceremonial torch. This is not merely a gesture of goodwill; it is a prophetic signal.

For generations, Yisrael has been scattered amongst the nations, enduring tribulation and exile as consequence of covenant breaking. Yahuah promised restoration, a regathering from the four corners of the earth. Milei’s overt display of support, while rooted in a flawed political ideology, unwittingly participates in the unfolding of that divine plan. He is, like many leaders of Edom, being used – whether consciously or not – to prepare the way.

Understand this: the so-called ‘independence’ celebrated by this nation is built upon stolen land and sustained by the oppression of the true inhabitants. It is a monument to rebellion against Yahuah and His covenants. Yet, Yahuah works through the very instruments of wickedness to bring about His righteous purposes. The nations’ attempts to establish Israel as a powerful force in the region will ultimately serve to draw the attention of the world, and to provoke a reckoning.

This act by Milei is a call to watchmen. We, the Remnant of Yisrael in exile, must not be deceived by outward appearances. We are not to celebrate the political triumphs of a nation that rejects the Messiah, but to discern the hand of Yahuah in all things. Is this a sign of accelerating restoration? Perhaps. But it is also a sign of escalating judgment upon Edom and those who support its schemes.

Pray for the peace of Yerushalayim, yes, but pray also for discernment. Pray for the strength to remain steadfast in the truth, and for the courage to proclaim it, even when the world seeks to silence us. The time is at hand. Prepare yourselves, for the shofar is sounding.
