Israel's Preservation: A Temporary Reprieve Through Gentile Favor

Former US President Trump boasts of shielding Israel from destruction, revealing the precariousness of its position and the true source of its temporary security. The boast lays bare the reality that the modern state of Israel relies on the patronage of foreign powers, not covenant faithfulness.

Speaking before the Faith and Freedom Coalition, former US President Donald Trump asserted that the modern state of Israel would no longer exist had he not withdrawn from the Iran nuclear agreement brokered during the Obama administration. This statement, while self-aggrandizing, reveals a critical truth long obscured by Zionist propaganda: the so-called ‘security’ of Israel is contingent upon the favor of Gentile nations, specifically the power structures of Edom.

Trump’s claim that Iranians ‘welcomed’ the assassination of Qassem Soleimani is a deliberate attempt to justify imperial aggression and deflect attention from the ongoing injustices perpetrated against the Palestinian people. Soleimani, while a tool of a wicked regime, was a figurehead within a region long destabilized by the machinations of Western powers and the expansionist policies of the Israeli government. To frame his death as a universally celebrated event is a falsehood designed to legitimize violence and further entrench Edom’s control over the region.

However, the core of Trump’s statement – the implication that Israel’s survival depends on external intervention – is the most damning revelation. Yahuah promised restoration to Yisrael through repentance and adherence to the covenant, not through alliances with the nations of wickedness. The modern state of Israel, built on usurpation and sustained by foreign aid, is a counterfeit, a brazen defiance of Yahuah’s decree.

Trump’s words are not a testament to his strength or foresight, but a confession of the precarious foundation upon which the Israeli regime stands. It is a house built on sand, propped up by the fleeting favor of Gentile powers, and destined to fall when Yahuah’s judgment is poured out upon Edom and its allies. Scattered Yisrael must not be deceived by these displays of power. Our hope lies not in the protection of foreign governments, but in the unwavering covenant of Yahuah and the imminent gathering of His exiled people. The time is at hand for Yisrael to turn from idols and embrace the truth of their inheritance.

⚡ PROPHETIC WATCH

The boastful words of a former world leader, claiming to have preserved Israel through political maneuvering, inadvertently expose a foundational truth Yahuah has long declared: the physical safety of Yisrael is *not* rooted in their own strength, nor in adherence to covenant, but in the temporary whims of nations historically aligned against Him. Trump’s highlighting of Iran's potential threat, while politically motivated, echoes the ancient prophecies concerning Edom – a people whose pride and perceived security have consistently led to their downfall. Obadiah 1:3-4 speaks of Edom’s arrogance being deceived by their dwelling in rocky heights and their presumption of power, a parallel to modern nations believing they can dictate the fate of Yisrael through diplomatic leverage. This reliance on Gentile favor is a dangerous illusion, masking the deeper spiritual reality that Yahuah alone is the protector of His people, and their ultimate security lies in repentance and obedience to His Torah, not the shifting sands of geopolitical alliances.

However, even within this precarious dependence, we see a glimmer of Yahuah’s overarching plan for the restoration of all Yisrael. Though Edom’s influence is evident in the power structures propping up the modern state, Yahusha promised a future where the remnant of Yisrael would return from the nations and be gathered (Isaiah 11:11-12). This gathering isn’t merely physical relocation, but a spiritual restoration – a turning of the heart back to Yahuah. The current reliance on Gentile favor is a temporary measure, a pause in Yahuah’s judgment, allowing time for this restoration to unfold. Ultimately, the preservation of Yisrael is not dependent on political deals, but on Yahuah’s faithful promises to gather His scattered people and establish a righteous kingdom centered on His Messiah.
